Collinite is a car care brand that makes products that are designed to help maintain a car's exterior in the best condition possible. Collinite's exterior care products are designed to protect a car's paint job from scratches and other marks, and they have a unique formula that is pH balanced and free of harsh chemicals. Collinite was founded in 1916 by a group of bicycle-racing enthusiasts who wanted a product to keep their bicycles in top condition. They began selling their product from the back of a horse-drawn cart. In the 1920s the company started selling its products at auto dealerships. In 1934, Collinite introduced the first aerosol car polish, which became very well-regarded in the car care industry. The company has continued to grow since then, and its popularity has even been passed on to the namesakes of the founders--their sons--who now own the company.
