It has a standard 8 MB SDRAM memory with a 4 MB flash memory and 32-bit RISC processor for high throughput. Media sensors are transmissive and reflective to accommodate different label types. The printer is Unicode compliant and accommodates black bar, black mark, continuous, continuous receipt, die-cut, gap, fanfold, linerless, notch, notch-sensing, notched, optional linerless platen, perforated, receipt, roll-fed, tag, tag stock media types.
