I'm using this chalkboard for psychotherapy, and it's really good. It's lap-sized, so I can sit comfortably and write words or make simple drawings. I primed the board before I used it for the 1st time, and I've had no problems whatsoever erasing what I wrote with a normal felt chalkboard eraser. It seems sturdy and expect it to last through a lot of use. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had been looking for something like a porcelain enamel surface used in standard chalkboards. This seems to be wood or wood-like material painted with blackboard paint. It still works perfectly well though.

Beautiful board and stain, great size for a back-to-school board for kiddos and works great with liquid chalk markers (comes right off with damp paper towel).

I purchased this board to get the magnets off my refrigerator! It will serve it's purpose nicely. Although the product is said to include hanging hardware, it only has the D-rings attached. No wire or hangers included. I had to provide both.

I needed to organize my mineral makeup and wanted to create a magnetic makeup board. I just hot-glued mini magnets to the lids of my makeup. The board was the perfect display. I have actually used colors I had forgotten I had now that I can see them easily.

As others have said, if Rustic means dented, scratched and having cracks in the wood, then they’ve delivered top quality.It came nicely packaged so I had high hopes that it came unscathed. Unfortunately, it came with damaged. I’ll have to repair the crack in the wood, sand it and then paint the entire frame. Hardly worth the $50 I paid.

I searched a long time for a chalkboard for my kitchen & couldn’t be more happy with this! Wooden frame adds to rustic look and wiped clean easily with damp cloth.
