Nice light to medium duty vacuum.
I have mixed feelings about this vacuum. It doesn't have the suction power of my previous shark but that may not be a bad thing. My old vacuum was pulling up the carpet and chopping up area rugs. I also had to be very careful not to get anywhere near a cord or it would suck it right in. This one seems to do an adequate job without those problems. It doesn't get the corners or edges quite as well but I can clean them with the attachments. I use full power even on bare floors because the lower power doesn't do the job. It's lightweight and very easy to manuever. It can easily get into spaces that my old shark couldn't. The cup is fairly small so I usually empty it about halfway through cleaning but that may be overkill on my part. It moves easily on the carpet but it could possibly get away from someone with balance issues.Overall, I'm very happy with this but I'll probably pull out the big, old shark occasionally to deep clean.

Great vacuum
Excellent stick. Vacuum, no more run down battery. A valuable asset for the home. Easy to clean and empty the dirt canister. Very easy to use on carpet and regular floors. Comes with attachments for cleaning furniture.

Best vacuum money can buy! Worth every penny!
Works amazing! My MIL had the same 1 and I loved hers, but having my own is amazing. Light and easy to maneuver. Picks up better than any vacuum I have ever used. Easy to clean and store. Has a storage hook on the back. Cord is easy to wrap and has hooks specifically for that. Long cord that reaches really far. Multiple heads to use for everything and I love it. Suction is amazing. A setting for carpet and for non-carpet flooring. Clear dirt collector so you can see exactly what you are picking up. Easy to clean roller with recessed groove guide in case you have to cut string or hair off it. First use on my floor had the carpet softer too! Love, love, love this vacuum! I Recommend for both small apartments and large houses, any flooring. Works like it's supposed to!

Great vacuum for the money
ProsThis vacuum has wonderful suction. Having two cats it is an endless chore to keep the hair under control. Light weight. Adequate length cord. Love the attachmentsConsThe dust collection bins prevents getting under our bed. With another Shark we had, the collection bin was on top so it was easy to get under furniture. This one not so much. The vacuum will not stand on its own. It is to heavy on the back side and must lean against something to stand up right.I found myself constantly pushing the sweeper head down. While sweeping, if you get the sweeper too upright it will lock in place requiring you to step on the head to lower it back on the floor.OverallGood, inexpensive vacuum. Great for pet hair

Excellent vacuum
I'm really happy with this vacuum. Lots of good features:- Not too heavy, I can easily carry it up and down stairs- It was easy to assemble when I received it, and it's easy to empty the dust canister- At first I didn't like the placement of the dust canister, but then I realized the placement on the handle allows the cleaner to go waaaay underneath beds and couches, etc. Which is awesome.- It really sucks up the dust and dirt. It actually made a difference in the appearance of my area rugs.Highly recommended.

Quite impressed with the suction and easy handling
Love this vacuum stick. Great suction, impressive swivel in motion. Only issue is I need to find somewhere to prop it up when not in use, it's top heavy. A corner does nicely. I honestly can't stop vacuuming when I see a little debris on the carpet (I have cats). It's fun to handle and makes cleaning a quick job.

great vacuum!
truly an amazing vacuum! probably the best i’ve ever used. i have white carpets and two cats with dark fur and it picks up every tuft of hair! it’s very light and easy to use since it’s not cordless, you don’t have to wait for it to charge or risk the battery dying while you’re using it. the only thing to be careful of is that it doesn’t stand up on its own so it needs to be leaning against a wall when it’s not in use

Don't buy it if you have long, thick hair. Otherwise, buy it
Skip to the bottom for the TLDR;!Vacuums are the literal bane of my existence. I originally had a blue Shark Rocket just like this orange one, but one of my buns ate through the cord. Ever since then, I've been cursed to only find vacuums that commit sudoku with mine and my husband's hair.I live in a ~650sqft one bedroom apartment. It's not exactly a lot of space and the only carpet is the bedroom, living room, and the dining area. Kitchen and bathroom are linoleum. I have extremely thick and extremely long hair. I shed hair as much as any animal I've seen and if I don't vacuum about once a week, a nice layer of hair settles in areas where I'm commonly at.I mentioned that one of my buns (she passed a few years ago; RIP Oreo) ate through the cord of my first Shark. No, she didn't die from eating through the cord because she didn't literally eat the cord. She just ripped it to shreds and spit it everywhere for fun. The second vacuum I got was another Shark. It was lost to my hair, presumably because of the time it took me to get a new vacuum. The hair piled up and killed the vacuum. That's when I became aware of the issue of my hair. My parents had a Dyson vacuum to clean up the mess that is my constant shedding, as well as hardwoods everywhere except the bedrooms, so I never knew. So I buy a third vacuum, a red one that I literally don't remember the branding for at all. I got it as a cheap hold-over until I could afford to shell out another $200+ on a vacuum. It, too, was lost to my hair. I used it a single time and my hair got wound up in the motor of the brush roller and BURNED MY HAIR TO A CRISP around the motor gear so much so that I couldn't remove the hair. Toast. So I shell out the $170 or whatever it costs for another of the same blue Shark I had originally. After all, the only reason IT broke was because my bun ate through the cord. Three vacuums later and... toast. Same issue as the red no name vacuum, actually. Brush roller motor sucked up my hair as I vacuumed, burned it to a crisp and became impossible to use. It's not a lot of hair I find in there. Just enough to jam everything up and be impossible to remove. Now, onto this vacuum :/I want to LOVE THIS VACUUM. It's great in every way. It's got fantastic suction and my floors felt clean the first two times I used it. It picked up a TON of stuff out of my gross carpets and I was finally feeling good about them. I'd been very diligent about cleaning my hair out of the roller and making sure the motor is free of hair so it doesn't fry and I'm excited because I think THIS IS THE ONE TRUE VACUUM.And then I use it today. I get the small piece of hallway in between my bedroom and bathroom and a little of my vacuum when I notice that I'm smelling burning plastic and hair and that the brush roller isn't actually pulling me across the floor anymore. The light is still green, as if everything is fine, but I turn it off and flip it over to clean out any hair that might be too tightly wound.Huzzah! The motor is fine. However... the opposite side of the brush roller that isn't attached to the motor is literally melted to the vacuum and can no longer spin. Hair probably got into this tiny nook between where the roller's end is housed and the roller itself. But I was only vacuuming for ~3 minutes. It felt pretty bad considering I paid 200$ for this vacuum. I don't think it's too much to ask that spinning parts not be open to things that can get caught inside, like human hair. But I also may literally be cursed because I haven't seen any other stories like mine.I can't give this vacuum five stars because despite it's normally fantastic performance, I feel like the plastic shouldn't have been so vulnerable to melting. I was only vacuuming for less than five minutes and the brush roller had been completely cleaned beforehand. The vacuum did not indicate that something was wrong, either. The light stayed green for the entirety of the three minutes until I shut it off because I smelt plastic and hair and wanted to save the vacuum. But I don't feel right giving this vacuum one star either. It performs REALLY WELL under normal circumstances and I think it'd make a great vacuum for most people. For those who might wonder: no, I'm not sick and no, I'm not balding. I've just always had a lot of hair break/fall out no matter what I do and my hair never gets any thinner despite it. I did recently cut off about eight inches of it, though, out of frustration and it helped the amount of hair breakage/loss. It sits just passed my shoulders now./endrantTLDR; MY BRUSH ROLLER MELTED TO THE WALL OF THE VACUUM AND IT NO LONGER SPINS. But this isn't the first time it's happened to me, so:I can honestly say I DO recommend this vacuum if:-You have hair that isn't super long and super thick-You have pets-You like having a clean home-You want something small and versatile that isn't cordless (I dislike cordless vacuums)-You want something easy to storeI DO NOT recommend this vacuum if:-You have murder hair
