The Caddy's Cookbook: Remembering Favorite Recipes from the Caddy House to the Clubhouse of Augusta National Golf Club

Good little home style cookbook … however it was placed in a too large shipping box with no padding and the cover was damaged ( I take good care of my books !! ) This was a packing issue … not a delivery issue.

This cookbook, contrary to its title, is worth having if you want mostly simple recipes. The stories behind some recipes or places where they came from make it an interesting read on top of the typical cookbook utility.

The recipes are nothing special nor unique. I thought they would be more creative. The stories are good.

Used it as one of my Christmas gifts..

Cannot believe it!!! I got my cookbooks in the release date!!! Amazing Amazon service; even more incredible the recipes I have been waiting for a while now. I do not know which words to put together to describe the storied recipes and the stories written to go along with each recipe. Truly Historical!!!

Insight that no body else would have

I write this not as a review, but as a recommendation. As the author's father, I took the child Tripp to the caddy shack where perhaps the greatest soul food cook of all time, Horace Avery was equal to the skill of any cordon bleu chef. At a young age, Tripp could out-eat most of the caddies!That caddy shack and Horace are long gone, but the mouthwatering recipes live on in this book. After reading each story, cook the dish - with the first bite close your eyes and experience history - not many have had that experience - Tripp provides that moment for all of us!

The recipes are not that great, but lots of interesting stories. Oh, and Amazon is trying to be PC and dis-allowed my previous review because the word “Masters” was used ...
