We purchased this area rug to put in our guest bedroom. We couldn't be happier with the quality and the softness. The beige/ivory color goes perfectly with our new porcelain wood plank style flooring. We did use a pad underneath to keep the rug from slipping. I can't speak to how well it cleans up, as we just put the rug down a couple of days ago. The rug does have a slight odor when you unroll it, but there is an insert in the rug from Safavieh that addresses that issue, and basically, the smell goes away on its own after the rug is unrolled after a few days.

this is such an interesting rug with different textures and shapes but still elegant.

We had the rug for one month before we decided to return it. Though both the Roomba and the Vacuum go over it, they don’t really pick up things on the rug. I also taped it down and had a thin pad underneath, and it bunched and slid around when our dogs played on it. It’s definitely not pet friendly. Their nails caught one of the loops already and raised it up. It is beautiful, but if you have pets, it’s not a great rug.The rug had no smell and laid flat immediately. I put a thin rug pad underneath. I may get a thicker one eventually depending on how the rug stays with this one.It is a very beautiful rug, and it is high quality. The Roomba goes over it easily which I was worried about. I don’t know how it will hold up over time as I’ve just received it, but it is so so so much nicer than the cheaper plastic/polyester rugs. The quality is apparent on first glance. It really brings the room together.

I love the quality of this rug. I highly recommend it. It has great texture and is beautiful in my space.

This rug does not bunch up and lays flat unlike other rugs that curl up at ends. It’s heavy enough so it stays put.

Exactly what I wanted! Light weight, looks expensive but easy to vacuum.

It’s a beautiful rug. The colors go great with my color scheme. However, it’s a flimsy rug. For the price I was expecting it to be a stiff-ish rug. I’m a little disappointed in that because now I have to spend even more money to buy a decent felt non-slip rug pad. I had a hard time moving my couch onto the rug by myself. I would have to lift one side up and move it a couple inches while moving the rug with my foot cause it would bunch up. Had to do that back and forth until I finally got it. Way more work than it had to be. For the price I was expecting better. Other than that it’s very beautiful and a beautiful design.

Pros:- It looks, and feels great for a formal space.- Not cheap, but price is reasonable considering that it is imported.Cons:- It is too thin, and lacks padding of any kind, it can fold or crumble up like a blanket. A gripper pad is mandatory.- Dimensions are not accurate. Width short by 3-4 inches. In fact, I had initially ordered an 8x8 and had to return it for the same reason.- Not suited for anything more than "gentle" use. I had some guest kids running over it a couple of times, and already a couple of the "knots" making the patters are loose, or have come off.Overall:Decent buy if you don't ever have kids/pets etc. It looks great, but I wouldn't expect it to retain that for a very long time, unlike the good woolen ones.
