Sturdy, efficient, versatile - electric, acoustic, bass - guitars do NOT lean too far back
I have purchased two of these about 5 years apart - identical quality and shape - and would buy again. Have used with Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul, Martin DM Acoustic, Fender Jazz Bass - excellent for all. Stand has 3 positions on its base to rest a guitar on depending on its size so I can say without hesitation that guitars so NOT lean too far back on this stand (even with electric in any of the three places you can put it). I know other reviewers have commented on this and I just have not been able to replicate an unstable position as others have described. Remarkably stable for such a small, light footprint, even on soft carpet. I have high end nitrocellulose finish guitars and yes while I probably should line all my stands with cotton... I haven't... and... no issues on this stand with guitar finishes over years of use. For me I'm only good with wall hanger at neck/nut or with floor stand with NO neck touchpoint. For the floor this is my go to stand.

TRUE Review
First -This stand is built with components that will support a keyboard. It works great and looks sturdy enough to last your lifetime. I don't expect it to break unless you run over it with your pickup truck.Second -The guitar does lean back a bit. It does make you pull it away from the wall. But turn it sideways, its only one foot deep. The lean does not in any way subtract from the stability of the stand.Third -I wanted something to put my guitar on while recording and between sessions. This solves the issue. I had other stands, but with the weight of more expensive guitars, this appears to hold up to heavier Gibson and PRS models. I would not recommend this for long term storage. No stand is great for long term storage. Put your guitar in its case if you are not using it. Saves wear and tear on the finish. If you want to leave it out. Hang it on the wall.Great product and built to last a lifetime. I bought 4 of them.

Great guitar stand!
Sturdy guitar stand that works equally well for electric or acoustic guitars. The stands are well padded where they will touch the guitar, and while the back support wouldn't scratch a guitar anyway, it's nice that it lines up perfectly with a strat scratch plate. These stands are a lot sturdier than you would think by the picture - mainly because the guitar sits very low. This low center of gravity makes it less likely tip when knocked. The guitar is at a little more of an angle than I am used to with other stands, but overall this is excellent - I've replaced all my stands with these.

Nice stand that is easy to use
This is a pretty good stand and is relatively robust for its compact size. Opens easily and folds up to a fairly small footprint for storage/transport, and it cradles the guitar nicely. Two minor issues:1) Personal gripe - the git leans back a bit more than I would like. Makes it more difficult to hug a wall and ends up taking more 3D space than it really needs.2) Product gripe - the two footer bars are not quite level with each other, so it rocks just a little bit. However, with a solid body electric on it, even a little rocking can be a really bad thing.I like OnStage and own several of their products. They are well constructed and a good value so I have no doubt I was just unlucky with this one. I've been applying a little persuasion to even it out and it's getting better, but with the relatively robust construction it just doesn't want to give much. Kinda sucks that it's not level out of the box, so 4 stars.

Very Durable
Very sturdy and stable. Not cheaply made. Had purchased on from local music store and when I needed another they didn’t have any. Looked here and purchased. Arrived quickly. Will definitely buy again if need more.

Great, affordable, stands for my home studio
These stands are just what I wanted for my studio. I like them so much, that I own five. I like the easy access to my guitars for recording sessions, and I like being able to look at them too. The multiple guitar stands are probably safer for the stage and more economical with space, but these stands are perfect for me as I don't gig much anymore. I'm very happy with the solid build. Good, solid guitar stand.

Pay no attention to the negative reviews
This is a very solid stand for very little money. I almost did not buy it because of the negative reviews. Pay no attention. My tele does not lean back excessively as described in the negative reviews; does not sit too close to the floor; and the criticism that the guitar might collect too much dust is just plain stupid. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. This is a well made stand. I cannot speak for the other models from Onstage of this type but I am sure they are just as good as this early model of an Onstage aframe guitar stand.

I use these to store my extra ride cymbals in case that helps anyone
I'm a drummer and use these guitar stands to store my extra ride cymbals. This way when I'm recording, I can quickly swap out the cymbals and they aren't rolling all over the place or getting their edges chipped on the ground. Maybe not a typical review but thought I'd mention it in case there are any drummers out there.

best Ive used for the purpose
Holds both acoustic and electric guitars at a good angle no "locking" latch needed. Sturdy - these ones haven't bent over years of use, others have.

Work great.
Very sturdy. Hold my electric and acoustic guitars perfectly. No fear of them slipping off. After a while I noticed that the guitar cable, strap and occasionally my pant bottom would catch on the extension to accommodate an acoustic guitar. Since I don't use them for acoustic guitar, I simply cut off the extension and now it's perfect for my needs.
