I wish I could have used this item earlier. I have some tough residues from tapes exposed in the sun for a year and tried 91% rubbing alcohol. It took me about 30min of super hard time to get rid of a nail size of tape residue on the glass. So I searched and bought this thing to try. It did work like a miracle! Whole process only took less than 5min and I got rid of the tough residues by only wiping with paper towel soaked with this solution. Also the smell is fresh and feel good! Highly recommended!

5 stars on the packing. The cap was wrapped up with this great foam tape that came off easily. There was a spot on the seal where you can poke a small hole which will help control the amount you need. I used Goo Gone on glue left behind by a sticker. Scrubbed it with the cotton ball a few minutes after applying. It worked.

When 3rd rate sellers and manufacturers put stickers on your newly purchased product that leave a sticky residue this will remove it easily. No reason to look at their gaudy advertising on a product you paid for. Pull off the sticker, grab a rag or paper towel and this. No more sticker. No more goo. I can't count the number of containers that I reuse and remove the labels from and this stuff cleans it up. Why get the small bottle when you can get enough to last for a long time? Removing those ads is sweet revenge - I paid for the thing - they didn't pay me to advertise.

I tried many solvents including Goof Off (https://www.amazon.com/Goof-Off-FG653-Professional-Strength/dp/B002MPPYYS) without success. I was pleased to find that Goo Gone did the job very well. It has a pleasant smell that didn't linger after I followed the instructions and washed the area with soap and water. As far as I can tell it didn't damage the carpet at all. 5 stars.
