Perfect for DIY Vanity
I absolutely love them and am buying this set again for the top of my mirror so I can have the bulbs completely around it (currently only have it on both sides) ... I diy'd this myself by watching a bunch of YouTube videos (search: DIY Vanity Mirror) and it was very easy to put up.. I even bought a remote plug outlet (off Amazon) so I can power it on with the touch of a button on a remote .. The remote outlet has 2 plugs so both strips come on at once at the same time... I LOVEEEEE ITUpdate : Almost 3 years laterStill in perfect condition.

Arrived quite dented
They are well built but the metal corners are fragile and most of the corners arrived dented. I ordered 4, two of the 5 light strips and two of the 8 light strips and found dents on each piece. Not a single one arrived without some form of damage. For my purposes they worked out ok and wiring was fairly easy for me to figure out.

Good item at a good price.
Purchased for use as a makeup area in a photo studio. Purchased vanith daylight LED bulbs. I chained the wiring and they are all connected (purchased a smaller one on the top.. these two are the sides). Easy to mount used this way or as designed over a mirror.

Good price and QUALITY for PRO look!
For me its 4.5 stars just because 1- they didn't come with precut holes for wiring. 2- the material is fragile in terms of dents and bends. I had to drill some holes so it kind of dented a bit but you really can't tell. Other than that it works amazing! But gave it 5 stars because it does do what its supposed to do. just try to be as delicate and you can, not that I wasn't but I mean extra. Hard though if you need to drill your own holes.

Don't buy this
Cold not get the cables out without breaking the back metal. I think the cable should had been paced outside.
