I’ve ordered this product twice now. I do a wide array of workouts from weights to running to multi-functional. I’ve taken aminos from different companies for a long time but started to finally really research & felt much safer taking Thorne. The flavor isn’t the best if you add too much water. I’ve always added around 20oz to my intra-workout aminos with no problem but this one will get watered down. I adjusted and it’s been good. I’m also used to awful tasting soups and just powering through worse and this flavor is better than stuff I took up till the last few years. Newer people to using supplements might not like the flavor at all but trust me all workout supplements used to be awful. My recovery & muscle growth/lift gains have remained the same to the other products I’ve used with more mystery ingredients so there was no drop off there. I’m okay with taking a step back on taste and variety rather than putting mystery crap in my body from lesser regulated big companies. Product quality wins this for me & I’ve heard from multiple non-Thorne associated experts that vouched for Thrones testing.

I love all of the Thorne products so I have nothing negative to say!I combine this also with my Oath clear Protein and love the berry flavor combination!It works great, mixes great and has greatly helped my overall health

I should have truly believed the people who said this stuff tastes horrible. It does. It is so bad that I have to hold my breath to take it and I don't even know if it's doing any good to my body. I stupidly combined it with Creatine and I shouldn't have done that because either this or the Creatine caused me to have HORRIBLE MUSCLE PAIN. I tend to believe that it was the Creatine though. That said, I was just told that this is an "unreturnable" item, so I am out a lot of money. Live and learn!

Initially when I read the reviews I had my doubts about it because of the taste. Let me tell you, the taste is just fine. I have not problems with that. It is like taking the vitamin c you put in water. In the beginning I felt it was too sweet for my taste buds ( I don't consume sugar or sugary drinks). But then my husband laughs of me because he is like you enjoy drinking it because you sip it out very slowly. I don't even realized when I drink it.You need to know that everyone taste buds are different...so everything depends the Rx pills you take in a day, the food you eat, ect...all that changes your biochemistry, as a result, some people don't have a good experience...key is to drink it with a full glass of ice water!!

Taste is fine. Just mix with 16 ounces/500ml bottle of water. 8 ounces water would be too sweet for me. Helps with my recovery at 62!

The product has a very strong flavor with my morning fruit smoothie. Thorn is thought to be a good product that is tested but the packaging is less than desirable plastic that is probably not recycled. Glass would be a better option. I will look for other options.

Great value for your money! I used it today for the first time after my CrossFit workout, and it was just like drinking water! No change at all, it was literally like drinking water. I felt replenished and glad I didn't have to bear through another berry, tropical punch, or whatever flavors they had out there! The training was hard enough; I do not need to fight the amino acids! No upset stomach, very effective!
