Instead of using this canopy over a window or door, I used it as an overhang for an area where I need deliveries to be made when I am not home and rain is predicted. This canopy will help prevent my deliveries from getting soaked (see right side of picture). UPS and USPS no longer wrap items with plastic, so I am hoping this will reduce the issue.Installation was easy and I was able to mount it without help. It's a sturdy product and looking forward to the results.

Other awnings exactly like this one were over $150-$200 or more. They looked exactly the same, so I took a chance on this brand hoping it would be decent quality. It was very good. I struggled putting it together by myself, it would probably have been easier with 2 people. But my adult sons installed it over my back door and it worked great. Didn't blow off even in high winds. Pretty easy to install and wasn't super heavy.

Adding an awning to our back porch was an afterthought so any awning that i wanted installed professionally wasn't going to fit. I needed 18 inches above the door and all i have is 12 inches so this is a good alternative to a traditional awning. It's not very sturdy, it's fairly easy to install. I don't recommend doing installing by yourself, it's annoying since the parts twist out of the grooves, etc. But other than that, you are getting a plastic awning for under 50.00, don't expect much. At the same time, it's not a bad idea. Mine has held up, it's on the back door of the house. I would recommend this to anyone in the same boat as i was. I did buy the warranty that was offered. I talked to a couple of local awning companies prior to ordering this and they were the ones who recommended something like this. They did give me the caveat that they were plastic and flimsy thus the reason why I bought the warranty when i purchased the awning. So far, so good.

Easy install and looks good. Won't hold up well to heavy storms. Good fit and function as intended, the membrane should be more heavy dudy.

Original order was missing a piece, but seller quickly sent a complete new item and didn't need original returned. This worked great for a side door on a large shed. It has held up after 3" of snow + 3" of rain in the same week!

The unit had a defect on the sits supports leaving it impossible to assemble. The seller was not helpful at all and offered nothing in return. I chalked this up as a loss but will never use them again. My suggestion would be to go to another seller and avoid this one in all cases...

I used the awning to put up over my door. It blocked the rain while unlocking the door. It was a great help. The awning was quite easy to put up, and it looks great.

Installation was a huge pain. Practically need to be an octopus to get this thing together. And it seems flimsy until you actually get it up there. Definitely need two people for install. But, it was a cost effective solution for my basement door that had zero protection from the elements. It has survived several bad storms with heavy winds, so overall I’m very happy with the purchase!
