It works for an 82 QLED.
This works for our big 82” QLED TV, but you MUST pair the remote first. It will not work otherwise.

Replacement Remote Not OEM!
I purchased the remote as a backup because of family (finding the remote in the couch cushions being sat on).The backup remote is now in operation, and it pairs and work with my TV.BUT it is NOT OEM which is what thought it was.The body is not an equal quality to the OEM that came with my TV. I can feel the seams and the sides move when holding the remote. It on a few occasions, has lost connectivity (the batteries are new and good) where I have had to re-associate the controller with the TV. It does the job but...Update: 12/2021About a month in use, not only does it lose its paring with the TV, but now, there are functions or buttons that is not working. Particularly, today, I was changing channels and the down button will not work. Up, Side L/R works but down does not. The day before, I could not enter a secondary screen because the remote did not want to work.I just ordered an OEM replacement directly from the manufacturer parts department.Update: 08/01/2022The OEM remote I ordered is awesome.The remote from this purchase current status is this: the Bixby feature stopped working during my previous update. The basic channel and volume buttons have gotten worse; they randomly work.I can go into detail, but other buttons work when they want to, not when you need them.The device has not been damaged or mistreated. There is one location my remote is kept. On a couple of occasions of use, it has been taken from between the sofa cushions. Other than that, it does not explain why it has stopped working or functioning. Going in the trash.
