The TELRAD viewfinder is an arrow finder that can be installed on any tele and makes it easy to align the tele to the starry sky. The TELRAD viewfinder is a practical alternative to classic optical viewfinders and to luminous point viewfinders. You can see the entire starry sky without ment, and not just a small cut-out like a normal optical viewfinder. Against this background of the starry sky three red luminous concentric rings are projected, with apparent diameters of 4 degrees, 2° and 0, 5° in the sky. The tele swivels so that the object you are looking for is in the inner ring, and the tele shows in the right direction. Because the object you are looking for is inside the ring, it will not be exaggerated like a normal light point finder. The base of the TELRAD viewfinder is self-adhesive and can be attached to all telescopic tubes with a diameter of approx. 10 cm. The length of the base is about 18 cm. This base remains on the telescopic tube, the TELRAD viewfinder itself can be removed or installed at any time using the attached quick coupling. The TELRAD is powered by two normal AA batteries (not included). There are star atlantes, such as the Oculum publisher's Deep Sky Travel Atlas and PC planetarium programs such as the Stellarium program, where the three rings of the TELRAD are already scaled out or can be displayed around the interesting celestial objects. This really makes the search for these celestial objects a walk.
