I ordered size Large gloves. They fit perfectly over my large palms. However, if I were a male I would definitely order a size larger. I use these not only for food prep but also for hand washing dishes. They keep dishes and bowls from slipping out of my hands and do the job better than the typical kitchen type rubber gloves. I can re-use the gloves from one load of dishes to another, knowing I can just toss them if a hole develops in it.

We grew lots of hot peppers in the garden this year, so I got the gloves to protect my hands when cutting them up.
