This comforter is so soft and great for people who have heat issues like me but want to sleep with a comforter. I've purchased a lot of comforters in my time and this one is a very high quality alternative to a down comforter at a crazy low price. It really is 500 thread count.

This was advertised as one of the warmest down-alternative comforters in its price range. The fill weight is comparable to the higher priced items. I don't know how to compare it to down, which I do not buy because it depends on animal cruelty.It's warm enough for San Francisco, which has a Mediterranean-like climate (usually >40F). Only one night have I needed additional covers, but I sleep cold.The comforter is about 2" thick and is baffle boxed along the edges. It's a little harder to handle/put into a duvet cover) than less bulky comforters.My main criticism is that it does not have tabs or attachment points at the corners. Until I get around to sewing some on, I've been using the ties in my duvet covers to anchor it in place. Still, it slides around a lot.Overall I'm happy with it.

Well made comforter, but too hot for the summer. Will use in winter months.

This is the BEST down comforter we have ever purchased! This comforter is SO fluffy and not too warm! We have purchased three of these already and will not be able to purchase any other comforter again.. we love this blanket! The best quality for the price! You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Love the blanket! Nice and warm..Size is great... got a king size and there is a nice overhang to keep me covered when my husband pulls the covers to his side in the middle of the night! The loft to it is well distributed and is better at keeping its fluffiness then the down blanket I used to have...plus NO FEATHERS coming out to deal with...I put mine in a duvet to keep it clean... but it looks nice on its own!

Geirgeously fluffy. Perfect for northern climate. I'm in Florida, so i returned it. But, oh, if I were i. Michigan. . .

After one year of use, it loses its warmth quite considerably and feels lumpy. The fillings have shifted and piled up into corners of the boxes. You can even see through it when holding it up to the light, revealing how little filling there is in some boxes. Washing it does seem to help fluff it up a bit, be sure to do it with cold wash and tumble dry low. It is not a long lasting comforter.
