A Clean House for Mole and Mouse (A Clean House for Mole and Mouse) Paperback – Illustrated, January 1, 1988

The book was advertised as "New". When I received the book, while the book itself looked brand new, there was a persons name written on the first page. I intended to give this book to my cousin for her baby shower. It was to be added to her baby's library of book. I was a bit disappointed.

Both the story, by Harriet Ziefert with illustrations by David Prabanna, are great for younger readers. Mole and Mouse decide to clean house and work together to get the job done. A good message for all of us. When finished Mole wants to use the bath, take a nap, the kitchen, etc., but Mouse objects stating that the house has just been cleaned. What is the resolution of this conflict? [spoiler alert] They go outside and shower, nap, and picnic, and return to a clean house.
