Hose sprung a leak near the end so cut it off and installed a new Male Fitting on it. Got these with both Male and Female ends and the hose clamps to keep them on. It was a tight fit but sprayed a little lubricant on it and pushed it on with a little force. Then tightened down the hose clamp to complete the job. When testing for leaks I did Not get it tight enough so had to crank it down some more. Then all was golden. Good, easy and inexpensive repair. I highly recommend this item for hose repair.

So, I could buy one of these sets at the orange big box store, or get four for the same price right here. Easy decision.I ran over the heavy duty 100 foot hose with the riding mower. I wasn't ready to toss the hose as this is the first season I'm using it. This repair connector kit is what I needed. The quality is ok. Not top of the line, but does the job, and again, the price is right.The clamps are sub-par. Don't think you're going to make it work just using your flathead screwdriver - not happening. Maybe if you have a thin low duty hose the screwdriver will work. However, medium or heavy duty, just go straight for the ratchet. Get out your ratchet set and pull out the 7mm socket - this is what you'll need. The clamp on the male side was ok. However, on the female side, before I could get it tight enough, the clamp stripped. Maybe my heavy duty hose was too much for it to handle? I have better clamps in my tool chest, so I used one of those on the female side, and everything is working fine now - no leaks under full pressure.It got the job done, and saved me the cost of the hose. Good quality hoses are quite expensive these days, so these connectors are a good solution to get more life out of your damaged hose.

These are nicely made and polished hose connectors. Comes with extra washers. The hose clamps appear to be good quality and function well. Good price for real brass fittings.

Very simple to use, works better than my original ones. Same water flow as before and same size fittings as the originals. Thick enough to last a long time.

I had to order separate hose clamps for these to work properly. The ones included with the product leaked, and even after tightening them as much as possible, they still didn’t hold, eventually breaking. Once I used my own clamps, the product worked as expected.

Much cheaper than buying locally. A must have for people that use a lot of hoses. For well and does not restrict water. Should last a while and not corrode, a little light weight but just be nice to them and they will last.

Liked the integrity of this seller, items were exactly as advertised, delivery was within Houston a few days, I needed these brass hose fittings as we keep getting vandalized at the veterans hospital.in this Southern California area, too many vagrants walking off with stuff from our gardens we do for therapy. Most items the recreation department gets here is from public donations and I donated an entire garden including the entire floral and vegetable gardens, planter tubs, all materials to maintain ut, etc. and work a couple of hours in it daily for the past 16 months while i, also a disabled veteran, work in rehabbing myself ( my legs atrophied) in which gardening helps. So..these brass hose fittings are essential to keeping our hose working well and the solid items , no dents, not old stock, etc really helps. Definitely will buy again from this seller!

Funcionan muy bien, pero lo son de los que cortan el agua al desconectar. También requieren mucha precisión al colocarse.

The brass itself is a very good quality however the hose clamps are completely useless as they do not tighten up enough to keep the water from spewing out they strip internally very quick
