Decent starter kit
I bought this for my 9 yr old niece as a starter set. If has some fun stuff and the rotary cutter is cool. Not sure how sturdy everything is as it's only been a month and she hasn't had time to really put this to the test. Even for an adult who is just getting started sewing, this is a nice kit for the money. We removed the x-acto knife before gifting it.

Its an OK set
The pins are very large so be mindful you will have slightly large holes in your fabric, the board is extremely small though it states its size in the description of the product it just seems even smaller, the rotary cutter doesn't come with instructions so i'm still trying to figure out how to switch out the blades, the xacto knife is very high quality, and the clear ruler is also quite small but if your sewing smaller projects its do-able.

Couldn't have made my first quilt without this
I received a sewing machine for Christmas. This is a must-needed kit for anyone looking to make anything from crafts to quilts with a machine or for hand-sewing. There were so many items in a reusable, nice package to keep everything together and organized. As I started my new hobby, I looked through items and thought "why would I ever need all these clips? A rotary cutter etc.?" 2 months in and some lovely home made gifts later.....I have utilized all items! Made projects much easier. Thank you!!

Nice starter quiting set
I got this because I wanted to try quilting and don't have many supplies for it out side my sewing machine. The butterfly pins are adorable, but flimsy. Everything else has been great though. The rotary cutter has a decent safety feature and I am happy for the extra blades. My favorite part is the clear square measuring piece, and the cutting mat is nice too. Though I prefer my self healing glass cutting board.
