Bushwacker Bed Rail covers
Easy to install filling the directions.1. They look great. 95% satisfied.2. Two mounting clips were missing in the package.3. The rectangular hole for the tie down hole was off location in the cover cross car about an 1/8” or 3mm. They need to look at QC procedures.

Perfect fit 1999 Ram 2500 tailgate
Some reviewers had problems with this tailgate cap. I cleaned the tailgate with alcohol several times, really scrubbed. The cap is a snap fit on my 1999 Ram 2500 tailgate. I removed the red tape from the center, and partially from the sides and bottom. Shop temperature was about 70 degrees F. Press fit the cap and carefully pulled the red tape from bottom and sides. Applied pressure over the entire cap. The Leer canopy door closes perfectly over the cap and it looks great. I can see that sliding something out of the truck bed could catch the inside lip of the end cap. I use a section of strand board to protect the tailgate and will make sure it extends over the cap when removing heavy objects. The canopy will protect the cap from wind forces, so that is not an issue for me. Great product.

They Fit
Urchased for 2001 Dodge Ram shirt bed. They fit and are easy to install. However the holes don't line up too well for the existing holes in the bed for any hooks or tie down accessories.

Not perfect.
Recommend dry fit and heat it up to shape it before installing. Wasn't a perfect fit for my 96 Dodge Ram. It's a little short. There is a gap from the end of the cap to the end of the tailgate, so it will need to be centered.

Not sure what others would complain about, Bushwacker is a great, reputable brand! These fit my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, Laramie 2WD perfectly, with no issues on install. Add in the great price, form, and fit; this was an easy 5 star review!

Not as pictured. Different shape.
Not like stock photo. Picture shows a larger coverage at the back and on tailgate. This comes straight all the way around. They do fit well though.
