I wired this into my Hawk 250's high beam. It is much brighter. It's not as bright as the sun but lights up the road like a high beam should. The light is broad so i can see in the ditches for deer and elk.

I had to buy the second light since I didnt notice it's just the price for one unit only. After that I had to adapt the connection to one on/off switch only because each light comes with its own switch. That isnt hard to do though.On the other hand, the light is very good.

The media could not be loaded. This light is great I hooked it straight into my Bafang hub controllers light output and it works like a charm with a relay. The picture shows how robust the mount is and the video goes through the light modes with the display button. For my use it's mounted on a Rockshox recon with some modifications but it's solid. Yes, the mounting system on this light is cumbersome but once mounted it shouldn't move at all. The display (500c) light button triggers all the light modes within the light which is very cool. I will update this review if the light fails. Now I should be able to see at night and be seen.

I was surprised at this light having a low current draw for the Light and dispersion. It has a few options for mounting it and some of those parts are metal that will eventually rust. The switch however is of sub standard quality of something that will be exposed to weather... and the plastic is thin. I chose to hook the light up to the Electric bike controller output for running lights when the bike is on.. and tossed the switch in the junk box. I would by this light again even tho it is not completely water tight.

I like the light but I'm not too happy about the mounting, it could be better but, I'm not using them exactly what they were meant for. I put them on my side x side. they are very bright, and they push a beam way out and cover a good size area.

I don't know if i got a dud or not but my phone flashlight works better then this thing

These lights are great! I have them hooked up to a 48 volt battery on an e-bike with a 570 mA drain. They'll draw about 13 watts above 12.6 V. At 12 V, they pull a full 15W and are slightly brighter. Initial impression is quality. They do run hot. Hopefully that doesn't cost life. Time will tell. Excellent throw with good flood/fill. I can comfortably ride at 25mph and see everything and be seen by other drivers in absolute darkness or during the day in busy traffic. The provided switch needs to be upgraded if you plan on riding in inclement weather.
