I purchased two packs of these magic cards, and first off I have to say that these decks are NOT a playable deck right off the bat. When I purchased these, the way it was advertised made it seem like this deck is hand picked by specialist to be a commander deck. I received a few commander type cards but none of them make it so that I am able to use all of the cards in the deck, I have max 61 playable cards for the best commander in the pack.. I barely recieved any lands, 4 in one deck, 2 in the other.. so that in itself makes it a completely unplayable deck. You are moreso just buying this to get more cards for decks you already have, it is not a starter deck. No duplicates were in the packs themselves, but buying at the same time I feel made it so a few duplicates were in both packs combined. This is fine for me, as I purchased one for myself and one for somebody else, but if you're trying to buy bulk at one time for a mixture of cards, I might suggest spreading your pack purchases out a bit.. I also received cards that called for other cards that were not in the deck.. The second main thing I wanted to mention was that in both of these decks, a lot of the edges of the cards were damaged, with one even having a piece falling off of the side.. With all of that being said, there were a few extra cards in each pack.I don't have any magic decks, so I thought this would be the perfect first go to.. I'm disappointed it was not.. I am rating 3 stars because the quality is alright, cards are good, but the unplayable deck ruins it.

This was exactly what I expected in terms of value of the cards. I thought it was a good way to start my son’s collection, and it was. Unfortunately all the cards are curved, which is usually due to humidity. This might have been an issue with the shipper, there’s no way to know.*** After posting this review my money was refunded. Thanks for the great customer service. ***

For the most part this is a good product. It almost received a perfect score from me. The packaging was very compact and nice, and the cards arrived undamaged. It also arrived in a fairly timely manner. No cards were duplicates and, as advertised, there were 10 Mythics, 60 Rares, 25 Foils, and 5 Planeswalkers. The cards were in good condition and there were a few good ones in there.However there were only 98 cards. The product advertised 100 cards. Unforunately because it is not as advertised I had to give it a lower score, which was a shame because I would have otherwise given it a perfect score.I think beyond the mess-up in card total there could have been more legendary creatures, because a pack like this is great for people looking to beef up their commander decks. It is just a shame that the product was not 100% as advertised.EDIT: I think it is only fair to reward excellent customer service. Because I value honesty very highly I must admit that I did originally rate this 3/5 stars, and I have left my original review above. However shortly afterwards the seller of this product did reach out to me. They handled the issue better than most companies tend to. Not only was a refund offered but they allowed me to keep the product that I did receive. Stellar service deserves a stellar review. 5/5 I do plan on ordering from them again in the future.

Good variety of cards, most newer set cards were NM and older set cards were LP. Don't expect to get similar value for the price. Most cards were in the 10-20c range with the highest value card around $1. Also, I purchased 2 packs and while there is limited duplication in a single pack, the 2nd pack consisted of about 40% dups from the 1st pack, so even less overall value in buying multiple packs.
