Replacement units
My home is ten years old and so were the installed smoke alarms. Recently one of the original alarms kept alarming intermittently and would trigger the rest of the alarms. A real PITA. I replaced all alarms with these OEM, direct replacements and so far, so good.

Exact replacement
Exact replacement of 4618 with 4618. Only issue was install date was 5/25 manufactured date was September 2023.

do not worry about size or style
the smoke detectors were fine these are the type to be wired into the ceiling ,so don't be concerned of having the exact size or style. Its just like installing the first smoke detector when the home was built, turn of power first.

Inexpensive piece of mind.
These interconnected hard wired smoke detectors were easy to install in the place of my 17 year old interconnected hardwired alarms. All 8 had a new battery in them and a new wiring harness which was easy to swap into my existing wiring. If you are afraid to change wiring in your home you will need a handy person or electrician to ensure they are connected correctly. Pieces of mind for the next 10 years.

Reviewed a previous order for this exact smoke detector. Great product at a great price.
Needed a replacement for my old Kidde model. I can't remember if it was a 1272 or 1275. Regardless the plug pattern was the key. My hardwired female end is triangular. The Kidde website recommended this model as a direct replacement. They were right. I only had to change the ceiling mounting frame. Quick and easy. Love the convenience of the battery being on the outside surface. No more dismounting and unplugging.

Drop in replacement for older kiddie
Replaced existing ones that were older and discolored. These were the same size and plugged right into old wiring.
