I’ve read it all the way through and there are easily 7-10 new recipes I can’t wait to try!! Very nice book lots of pictures and I love the occasional synapses!

I have been cooking one recipe every day and look forward to turning the page and see what’s next! I love the stories and the straightforward instructions. Only wish there was a fantastic photo on EVERY page.I am absolutely a Choate/Pool fan!! Can’t wait for the next book!

Very basic recipes using legumes & pulses with easy to find ingredients. Thorough catalog of ALL types of beans and how to store them.

Seemed to me the recipes were repetitive, using a similar base over with variations. I wasn't inspired and returned the book.

Easy to read n follow directions for recipes. Haven’t cooked any yet but I do have one picked out!?

Inspiring and easy to make recipes

A good cookbook with different ideas on sweet and savoury recipes, I have tryed a few of the recipes and they were lovely with rice or potatoes, Good Buy.

As another UK reviewer points out - this is clearly for the American market: not only the lack of alternative measurements, but the use of meat in what you'd assume would be a vegetarian cookbook when it is marketed as "Good for your health, the World and Your Budget".

This is very much a US-oriented book. A lot of the ingredients and all of the measurements are US (cups, ounces). This is unacceptable for global publishing these days. Most of the recipes look pretty thin, too.A nice idea, but wanting: hopefully someone has written a UK bean-oriented book. Returned.
