We bought this collar for our 13 pound Yorker mix. It’s a great decorative collar! Good quality for the price!! Would not recommend using a leash on it though and I would not recommend for highly hyper/active dogs. It is good quality, but not unbreakable. We are debating cutting the jingle off it so we don’t hear her jingle all through the house. Would recommend for a cute looking collar for a calm dog/cat.

I purchased a size "medium" in pink for my 18 pound Yorkiepoo. It looks totally awesome on her and she loves it as well. I know this because she would constantly make an effort to take it off if she didn't like it. That's just her way... It's made in such a way that it's close to the neck and can be easily adjusted by a metal clasp. I believe that it IS a durable necklace, even for a fur baby that occasionally scratches her ear. The pearls appear to be very secure although they are free-moving. I DO NOT believe that it would cause choking if it came apart because the pearls are smaller than small breed kibble. However, I do suggest that it's safety be individually evaluated by each "doggy parent" according to the habits of your "fur baby". tI also has a small bell so that you know the whereabouts of your little one. My fur baby is extremely active and people tend to refer to her as "HE"... 😮 Its a little awkward for someone to refer to your baby as "HE" and having to correct that person and inform them that your fur baby is a girl. ...even if they wittnessed her chasing a doberman, shredding your garden etc. 😳 I'm sure someone knows the feeling... With these lovely pearls, they automatically know that she's a girl and definitely NOT a "dude" even when she is in action. Hope this helps!

We have a medium size dog who doesn't go out much so she is off her leash most of the time. I'm not sure how the collar would hold up with a leash as she often pulls on the leash when one is put on her and it doesn't seem strong enough to withstand her strength. My dog is about thirty pounds and the size we ordered just fits around her neck as expected per the measurements of the collar. It is very pretty and for her to just roam around the house it serves it's purpose and we are happy with it. It even has a little belle on it which gives us a clue as to where she is when she's moving around which is a nice little feature.

Although it is very pretty and received many compliments, unfortunately the wire broke easily. I would also recommend using a non-human jewelry style clasp. It was extremely difficult to put this on a cat with such tiny clasping devices. With a more animal friendly clasp and more heavy weight fishing wire used, this can be updated for a better product. Also, after one month, the pearl white rubbed off on many of the pearls.

For the price this necklace is great quality! Usually at this price point you're getting pretty cheap quality, which I expected, but was pleasantly surprised. Low quality but nicer than others I've purchased at this price point. It's really hard to find something pretty and comfortable at this price. I had to get this cat collar for my dog to find it...just going to remove the bell. I bought 2, one for each dog. I recommend!

Wonderful collar. Can be used as a necklace for women if you get the 14 inch size, so long as it can fit your neck (be sure to measure it!) Very comfortable to wear. No one will be able to tell, much less believe you if you tell them its a cat collar. Quiet bell, difficult to get it to jingle without excessive moving. The collar may "break" at first, the problem is easily remiedied by using pliers to squeeze the gap in one of the metal links.

This it's super pretty. It looks really nice on her, but it fell apart. It's not made well to be put on a dog. She's not very rough oh, so for an active Doggett it definitely would work.
