Very informative. A good reference for action figures.

Great, fun book to read....and you might even draw something!
I purchased this book for my girlfriend's 10-year old son who's very interested in drawing comics and creating all sorts of super heroes. It's pretty funny to look at the types of super heroes he comes up with because they all have a list of super powers as long as your arm and the first power is always "cannot die".Anyway, he's a big fan of Stan Lee so when I saw this book, it was a no-brainer to buy it. There's not a whole lot of instruction on how to actually draw super heroes given how many pages this book has, but it does give a lot of history of the heroes described in the book and speaks a lot to the types of heroes that a good comic book should have. He absolutely loves this book. It's really good book to sit down and read even if your first priority isn't to learn how to draw.Pick up a copy, I think you'll enjoy it.

Comic Advice
It was great but should be recommended for older teens and up. I purchased it because my grandchildren were interested in drawing comics. However, some of the illustrations may be too adult for some of the children. Maybe an age range should be added. It has great information for older teens and adults who want to try cartooning.

Ideal for children from nine to fourteen Stan Lee is the Master
My grandson is twelve and a big fan of Stan Lee. The similar books I sent him were too childish but it’s hard to tell shopping on lineThis book was at the right intellectual level and a hit with the twelve year old

Great gift idea for kids!
I used to have a version of this book when I was young! I bought it for my nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! If you know a kid who loves superheroes and also likes drawing you have to get them this book!

Five Stars!!
My grandson (13) loves drawing comic characters. This book has taught him a lot of different ways to get the look he is after. Great little articles inside as well.

Ehh I thought it be more
Real simple drawings not that many steps and just a bunch of art work and it was not what I wanted for a drawing book. Oh well

this will not teach you to draw already made superheros
I got this hoping I would learn how to draw the likes of Deadpool or Spiderman, or even Wolverine. Instead I was greatest by the history of comic books. Detailing both Marvel and DC comics. I was delightfully surprised and a little saddened. If you want to learn how to create your own superheros then this book is perfect. If you want to learn about the history of the comic book industry in a fun and amusing way, then get this book. You want to learn how to draw Deadpool? Go somewhere else.

Was a great product I haven't drawn In years but it is fairly easy to copy and mimic the drawings in this awesome super hero book. I would definitely recommend it.👍
