While I have worked with fondant, I have never worked with gum paste, and that intimidated me from making flowers for a cake I had to make at an otherwise very busy time. So I ordered these. They came quickly and very well packed! I was happy about that. I needed something right away that I could depend on not coming broken. The wires are very long. You can use them as is or, as I did, cut them to a size usable for your cake. So they are practical for working into your cake design. And the flowers are so pretty! What I didn't expect was how hard they are. They ARE edible. I tested one. Even the little anthers on the filaments are edible. The taste was pleasant, too. However, I expected them to be as soft as or softer than fondant. Just be aware that these are like petrified frosting. They are hard. And by hard, I mean hard! But if you don't mind that, you will be very pleased with these. The service was great, these are easy to use, and the flowers are beautiful!

Used these on top of a plain white icing pre-made cake and it was so beautiful!! They taste good, too!! We'll done!!! A couple had a few broken pieces on the petals but I was able to still use them, together they created a beautiful bouquet on top ❤️

When I was asked to make my granddaughter's wedding cake, I got in a bit over my head. I had plenty of time to do everything, but have a severe injury to my right hip and can't stand for a long period of time. As a result, I only had about 1/2 of the flowers made that I needed and decided to give these a try.They arrived well packed and so none were broken or chipped. They are absolutely stunning!! You won't go wrong purchasing these for whatever your event!!Oh, and one more thing... they arrived early!

I will be the first to admit that I have no idea what gum paste should taste like, but these taste awful. Not the end of the world since they are here for looks more than anything, but of the 6 flowers, 4 had broken petals so they didn't look great either. Also, because of the way they were packed, the pretty stamen were not standing up. They were crushed and smushed. I thought it might be due to the cold weather and once they got inside my home, they'd warm up and be able to shape them better, but they didn't. I tried standing them back up and they just flopped over. While they should be edible, they have a wire at the bottom where the stem would be. I guess that's needed if they were going to be on the side of a cake, but I was just decorating the top. I was unable to just cut the cake with the flowers on it. I had to remove them after pictures. I wouldn't purchase these again or recommend them, but my daughters birthday was today so I didn't have time to get something else and had to use them.

These flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I used them for a birthday cake for my four year old niece. We had a fairy and used these flowers along with the sweet angel cake topper. It turned out perfectly. I highly recommend.

Got these for a cake, product came in with half the flower pedals broken. Pretty but doesn’t transport well.
