Useful small tester for the most common household batteries.
Useful tester for the most common household batteries, including 2 button batteries. I use it to see if batteries are still usable, and to see which of the same model old batteries are better. It draws its power from the battery being tested, not from another battery. The small needle gauge is useful for determining life left in the battery, but needs to be read in good light. The tiny size of the tester makes it easy to carry (and also to lose). The design requires the user to be adept at handling small items. The modest price makes it practical to have testers in multiple places at the same time.

Nice handy but not very accurate voltage indicator
Works as described. Putting some types of batteries, e.g. C, is a little finicky since the base doesn’t always make good metal contact. Given its small size, the battery level indicator is a little on the coarse side.
