i moved into a new apartment complex and they don't want a lot of nail holes in the walls, so i thought of this a an alternative because my wife wanted to put up curtains. so i had the bar up for about 3 months now and it has worked out so far. i open and close the curtains with no real problems. but the bar does split a little a but for the most part no real issues with it.

I bought this curtain rod as an alternative. I live in a rental so I can’t put holes in the walls. This is lightweight and very study. I even tried to wiggle it around a bit to see if it would fall off and it stayed put.Also the seller was very accommodating! I ordered 2 of these. The second one for some reason wouldn’t tighten correctly and they sent me a replacement pretty quickly. I’m thinking about getting more for my other rooms.

It installed even easier than I thought it would. I understand what some reviewers meant about it possibly coming loose. Sooooo, what I did was reach up every two days for the first week and a half, and gave it a lite twist, real lite. After 10 days it didn't budge unless of course I was going to try and break it. Has held up great so far and I am using real heavy room darkening curtains.

At last there's finally a curtain rod to put up over those annoying cinder block windows! Because we're renting, we've had no way to drill holes into that stupid cinder block to put up blackout curtains for our baby. And if you know cinder block, you know that nothing sticks to it either, so after months of trying out combinations of Command stripes and hooks that would suddenly fall down after a couple of weeks, we decided to give this curtain rod a shot.And it WORKED!I was afraid it was going to be one of those stupid twist rods in the middle that I can barely move once there are curtains on it and that dig up the wall paint once you try to install. Instead this was a nice set-up with easy instructions to hold it in place and twist just one nice knob on the end. I got it up, down (to readjust the curtain grommets), and up again by my weak postpartum self in about 5 minutes. And it hasn't fallen off in the 3 months since we got it! Plus it looks like the nice, modern polished curtain rod we wanted instead some cheap one from the 90s.Definitely recommend if you're in an apartment or renting - and especially if you have to work around stupid cinder block walls!

No need to drill holes on wall

Very easy to install as long as your window frame will allow it. My windows don't have frames, just a flat wall with a 90 degree indent to the window so they worked very well.Quick to install.

I was worried it wouldn't hold the curtains for opening and closing! WRONG! It was perfect!! Sic'Em!!

Really easy to put up and super renter friendly. You just can’t put the heaviest curtains on or it will fall but my standard curtains from target work just fine

Because of length it is sagging in the middle. in my appartement we can’t put any screws - it is all cement

Very strong , and best part is no drilling ! Takes some adjustments but it’s great !

Very sturdy. Used as room divider, so pulled on a lot by a two year old and has not moved. Would buy again!
