Russell Stover Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Mix, 10 Ounce Candy, Individually Wrapped Bars, Sweetened with Stevia

The Russell Stover sugar free candies are the best tasting sugar free candy that I have encountered. They still don't taste quite as good as sugar candy, but good enough to both satisfy my sugar cravings and feel like I am treating myself.The coconut candy is filled with shredded coconut which provides a nice coconut flavor and interesting texture.The chocolate truffle provides a rich and very satisfying chocolate flavor.The caramels have all the texture of caramel, but not all the flavor and sweetness. So this candy is the least satisfying of the 3 kinds, but it is still fun to enjoy that stringy, sticky, chewy texture of the caramel.I find that the Russell Stover caramel is most enjoyable when it is not the most dominant ingredient in the candy. For example, I really like the presence of the caramel in the Pecan Delight candy. The Pecan Delight candy is my favorite of the Russell Stover sugar free candies. Unfortunately, they are not included in this variety pack.

This variet of sugar free dark chocolate assortment is excellent. Unfortunately they are hard to find in stores.

Product good but price too expensive so buy at store-cheaper.

I ordered these chocolates because I like them but NO ONE takes and extra precautions when shipping in warm weather. It was an experiment on my part and it failed....they came in melted.....nuf said.

These candies are great tasting but this bag tasted a little old - not totally stale but the chocolate truffle flavors (the most plain of the three) had that slight older candy taste. As for the product overall, I buy these and other varieties of RS Sugar free fairly regularly as I can't have sugar and these are a treat that makes life bearable. Be warned though: a serving size is two pieces. You might be able to push it to 3 or 4 pieces over a day, but anything more and you'll get an upset stomach. Malitol is not absorbable so if you eat it in excess of the serving size, it will create loose stools and very unpleasant gas. (I actually oddly don't mind that this happens as it keeps me motivated to be strict about portion control- the consequences are not worth the over-indulgence.) But as long as you don't eat too many at once, it is perfectly fine and they taste like regular candy.

Being sugarless this candy is delicious especially the dark chocolate!
