ADT wireless Outdoor/Night camera
Item arrived on time and packaged well. Installation went well with the exception of one excluded step. Once the MAC address is entered and saved, the one step that was omitted was to enter your security code on the base unit and hit the pound button, twice. e.g. 1234 # #. This reboots the system and associated the newly added camera to the system. Once complete the device worked like a jewel, and the images from the new camera were immediately viewable in the Pulse app/program. Images are sharp and the video feed was exceptional. My camera is mounted on my outside garage wall some 150' from the base unit and is separated by a carport. Great add on to the existing system w/o the added service call expense from ADT to do what I did.

It works, but be patient with the install.
This camera works with ADT Pulse, but the installation is tricky. I'm not going to go into the details of installing it becuase there are ADT Pulse camera installation guides available for help. You can find them on YouTube or Google. I'll just hit some parts that might be tricky. You must physically connect the camera via included LAN cable to your Pulse gateway/hub/thing to do the setup. Once you've added the camera in through the Pulse web portal, it will need to update its firmware. It does this automatically but it takes FOREVER. Don't get impatient. Just wait. After it finishes updating the firmware, it starts the "installation" phase. This also takes FOREVER. Again, wait it out. If you're keeping an eye on the camera's status, you'll see it go active! Don't get your hopes up, it will shortly go back into "installation" mode. Just keep waiting. Eventually, it will finish installing and go active for real. Now, you'll need to disconnect the camera from the LAN and power. Replace the power and wait a couple more minutes. Finally, you'll be able to see video coming from the camera. It seems to work well, but you need to wait for it to do its thing. Honestly, I got impatient this first time I tried to install it, thought the camera wasn't working, and pulled the power. This resulted in me having to reset the camera by sticking a paperclip into the small hole beside the camera's power input and holding it for 10 seconds. It's annoying to setup, but it totally works once you've waited it out.UPDATE: Lowered to 3 starsAfter about 9 months of use, it is still working and has decent wifi range considering the number of walls between it and our router. The image quality is still very good, but it is mostly protected from the elements under the eve of our roof. However, there are a few issues. Though the firmware will eventually update, it doesn't update to the newest version. My use-case mostly involves taking still images, but the commenter is correct that video clip capture does fail. A work around is to add several actions to your Pulse setup so that the camera taking pictures every few seconds after it is triggered. However, the most unusual observation is that the camera takes itself offline daily for *exactly* twenty minutes. Not 17, not 21. Exactly 20 minutes. I'm not sure what the source of this behavior is, but it is bothersome.

ADT Pulse does NOT support two-way audio as advertised.
I bought two of these cameras that were ADT specific model, based on the ADT website saying that they were one of just a few models of camera that work with the ADP Pulse system. Not cheap cameras, but I wanted to two-way audio feature and this was the only ADT Pulse supported model that has that. Had no problem adding them to the system and video works fine but could not figure out how to get audio to work. Called ADT and they said that they do NOT support the audio feature. Why...WHY would there be an ADT specific model that is promoted on the ADT website where they do NOT support one of the main differentiating features of this model of camera? At a minimum the ADT website should go to great lengths to let you know that the audio is not supported. At best they should support the main features of a camera they promote. They claim that it is a legal issue as to why they do not support the audio, but that sounds like total b.s. to me.ADT, DO NOT PROMOTE AN ADT SPECIFIC MODEL OF CAMERA IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THE MAIN FEATURES OR AT LEAST TELL ME VERY CLEARLY THAT YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THAT FEATURE SO THAT I DON'T WASTE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON A CAMERA THAT DOES NOT WORK. DUH.

These were easy to link into our ADT system
These were easy to link into our ADT system, once I figured out that you have to plug the Ethernet cable directly into the camera *and* the iHub when first configuring it (it's in the instructions, but not very clearly stated). After the Pulse system found and configured the internal communications with the camera (I'm assuming encryption and such), WiFi worked without any issues. Overall we're pleased with the two we have, but we do have some gripes -1. Only the extension cord has the weatherproof boot on it. One of our cameras is right next to an outlet and we either have to wind up the extra 8ft of cable, or hope water doesn't get into the plug. Since you have to run a cable anyway, the option for PoE would solve both the power and bandwidth issues with one custom-cut cable.2. The connection between the normal cord and the extension is likewise not weatherproof.3. The motion detection is cool, but it works off the video feed rather than a sensor. It really needs the ability to set thresholds or zones. We have tons of trees around our house, and any fluttering of leaves, even in the corner of the screen, will trigger the motion detection. So will rain.4. Range of the IR lights is pitiful. Probably 5-10 feet at most. Fine for a front door camera, but if you're monitoring your driveway be prepared for external lighting.5. Viewing recorded clips can only be done on the web interface, not the mobile app (live only on mobile), and you *must* have Quicktime installed to view those clips - which can only be up to 30 seconds, by the way. However, those are all pretty minor for a camera system that's a snap to set up and install. We're getting more of them soon.
