Very sturdy and gorgeous

Good for the cost, but not high quality
For its pricepoint, I found this tiara good, but not great. I work on camera a lot, and i enjoy wearing extravagant and interesting headbands just to keep things lively. Most of mine are in this price range. When I modeled this one for my husband and son, my husband's immediate comment was, "Looks cheap." My son was kinder. He said, "It looks like a prop crown. Fine, unless it's supposed to be jewelry quality."On the plus side, the metal has a nice antiqued quality to it, and the gems (I have the green) give a good deal of sparkle. Nicely faceted.On the down side, the combs that help keep it in place are not at all compatible with textured hair. The first time i wore this, it got quite tangled. I've learned to pull it straight up to take it off, which helps. Otherwise, it's taking some of my hair with it.I do not find it incredibly comfortable to wear. The metal is not incredibly flimsy (one of the pluses), but the curve of this unit suggests it was bent at some point between manufacture and arrival at my home. The left side of the tiara has a considerable sharper angle, and while I have tried to bend it back, it still digs into my head a bit. I'm not 100% sure that isn't a necessary component of the design, to keep it from falling off every time you turn your head, but it's not something I'd want to wear for endless hours.In a nutshell, I find it a pretty piece of costume, but not something I'd wear as fashion. And be careful with those combs.
