Pros:I prefer this dhokla stand that does double duty as an idli stand to make idlis. It does not tilt and the spacing between layers is good. The risen idlis do not touch the plate above them. I have always had issues with regular idli stands that do not hold the pans level and have too little space between them. There are four layers and you get 16 medium sized idlis.For the lowest layer, which you have to tilt to get in, I place the empty greased idli plate and ladled the idli batter directly into the pan from above. The other three can be filled and then placed in the pan.The lowest dhokla pan has a lip and can be placed carefully after filling.I tested both sets of pans by making regular idlis and plate (Thattu idli) and both versions turned out great.The rack fits in the 6 qt instant pot with the glass lid.Cons:The bottoms of the feet are rough and can scratch the steel instant pot insert.

Someone suggested I buy just the idli insert and not the whole pan-idli combo. They said it was more cost effective and the pans sometimes lacked quality. So I ordered just the insert and hoped it would fir inside one of my pots. It fit inside the 8-quart stock pot. The only thing I did not like was that it was hard to grab the knob to pull it out of the stockpot, but then if the knob had been larger, there might be problems getting the pot cover to fit tightly. But the idlis turned out perfectly the first time!

I was looking for an idli stand that can fit inside an instant pot 6 qt. I ordered the 5 plate stand and the stand fits in comfortably. I tried making idlis and although the idlis come out fairly flat, this is acceptable given the overall size of this stand. There is a minor welding defect on one of the plates, doesn't affect function but I wish the quality control was better.

No instruction manual. Poor design, the lid keeps popping up . No steam generation

It seems product contains two different manufacturer. Outer utensil and inside idly stand. It does not look like Vinod product. Inside package reads some other manufacurere by name Niraj.There is no assembly or operation manual in package.Steel quality is very low grade and flimsy for past products we purchased under the Vinod brand.

I purchased the Vinod Stainless Steel Idli Cooker with the 4-tier stand, hoping it would be ideal for Indian cooking, but unfortunately, it's been one of the worst online purchases I've made. When I close the lid tightly to steam the idlis, the whistle becomes unbearably loud—initially causing ear ringing and then escalating to a deafening noise. My neighbors even complained to management about the excessive noise it creates. I’ve had to stop using it because of this. While it does make decent idlis, the noise from the whistle makes it impossible to use.

Easy to use & come with dhokla maker plates & idli maker plates. But the price was too high.

The product is Stainless Steel and perfect fit for Instapot.Size is perfect and has holes underneath for proper steaming.

Qualität: Geht so. Die Platten selbst sind in Ordnung, aber die Abstandshalter sind so schräg angenietet, dass alles krumm und schief steht. Beim Befüllen muss man sehr aufpassen, dass nichts umfällt. Die kleinen Löcher in den Mulden sind auch Quatsch, da bleibt nur der Teig hängen. Es gibt leider wenig Alternativen hierzulande, sonst würde ich das Teil zurück schicken. Für die Qualität viel zu teuer!
