Zipper is cheap, but protects your kiddo
The pads are a little big for my son (he's 5 yrs old, 42 inches tall, and about 42 lbs), but they have made him feel safe riding, and even falling. Everyone is happy with them other than the zipper separates regularly...

AWESOME item GREAT seller
For the price the items aren't "bad" however the chest protector straps broke immediately as the stitching is not great. Besides the item not securing itself properly everything else is "okay" . Better stitching and a bit more care this product could be grand.Edit UPDATE: Even though I had had this issue the seller and I have talked a lot and we've figured it all out. They are going to fix this issue with all future orders BECAUSE THEYRE AWESOME! so the stitching will be even better which will make this product A++ . Got to give it to them, they're the definition of a GREAT seller!!! š

Fit very well and the protection level seems to be very good!
I do recommend these. I shopped and compared many styles and settled on this one based on price and reviews.This is great and I feel better when my son wears this while riding his mini bike.I held one star because a side strap ripped off of the vest immediately out of the box. it appears to have been poorly stitched from factory. It doesn't truly affect the use, but it doesn't cinch down the way I would like.... but, under his motocross jersey, it is fine.

Good quality
Very pleased with this product. I just received and it is as advertised. I would recommend for a beginning rider. I will feel much safer with my 7yr old wearing this and helmet. It's our job (parents) to provide their safety gear with any sport or activities. It would simply be foolish to not add this for any rider regardless of the age. It has a plastic flexible spine protector which I really like. It is just very well constructed and I would buy again and suggest you buy one for your little ones. š
