Extremely effective as a pre-filter in my dog water fountain
We have three dogs and use a fountain outside as their watering bowl.Between wind and dog hair, a good deal of junk gets in to the bowl, which created the need to clean the filter every week or so.bought these filter bags and cut them down a bit and the results have been fantastic. The bags catch the larger items so that the finer filter medium only has to deal with the particles.I wish I had known about this sooner.

Keeps the junk from plunging up
I purchased this to help keep the junk out of the fish pond pumps that I purchased. Very easy to clean, very easy to use, great material, allows water to flow easily, and the size is good as well.

great idea
These barrier bags are a great idea. Mine, however, clogged with algae and soon collapsed on the pump. Bummer.'

Efficient
These bags block a large amount of debris you clean them out once a week and the pumps work fine

It's right for the price
Simple. Decent quality and I like having the extra so when I remove the other, I can swap it out while I clean the used one. They don't good job of protecting your pump.

Bage serves the purpose, but too large for our pump. They should come in sizes !
