It works.
I used it for a car lift. But it would be better if it had instructions.

Works very well......but, there's always a but
Would be nice to see some form of manual or guide to the ports and adjustments. I have some minimal experience with hydraulics so I was almost easy to get dialed in. It does work nicely however.

Outstanding Product Better Than OEM in My Case
Pros: My 4 post lift is 10 years old and the OEM power pack died. The new power pack from BestEquip outperforms the OEM power pack even from back when the hoist was new. The BestEquip unit also worked perfectly as supplied right out of the box, I just installed it and it worked flawlessly. As for power, I tested the performance of the power pack after I installed it by putting a police equipped 3/4 ton HD Chev Suburban with the big tranny and V8 on the hoist. It launched the heavy vehicle effortlessly with a consistent speed right to the top in 50 seconds. The decent lever control is fantastic. Regardless of the weight of the vehicle, you can bring any vehicle back down at a smooth and controlled speed.Cons: As other reviewers have pointed out, the documentation with this product is bad. Please let me explain the correct utility supply requirement for the motor on the power pack which in fact is well suited for connection to any residential 240 volt single phase utility supply or two phases (any two legs) of a light industrial 208 or 240 volt 3 phase supply. I actually wrote the manufacturer prior to purchase as the information they provide in their Amazon listing is confusing. They advised me that the motor on the lift would not operate with single phase energy, only two phase. (This information is not correct) The specified voltage on their listing is 220 volts. As an electrician, I explained to BestEquip that the common utility supply choices here in North America are to use any two legs of a 3 phase 208 or 240 volt service, or the two live wires of a 240 volt single phase service. In all cases, the energy across the supply wires is 120 degrees out of phase at 60 cycles so it makes no difference to the motor, outside of the fact it will have slightly less mechanical power operating on 208 volts as opposed to 240 volts. Since the ideal spec voltage from the manufacturer is 220 volts, any 120 degree out of phase 60 cycle energy source will work in the 208 to 240 volt range. The manufacturer conceded that they are unsure about the operation of their product in all markets related to utility supply power. They invited me to purchase their product if I was satisfied it would operate properly with the utility supply I had available. I hope my explanation is of assistance to other customers considering this product. I have this lift at my home where I connected it to my 240V single phase service. The instructions with the lift does not indicate anything about voltage, but instructs the installer to connect the lift to a zero wire (neutral) and a live wire. This does not apply to any utility supply used in North America so do not follow the instructions here or you will damage the motor. On the residential side, there is only 120 volts to the neutral so the voltage for the motor is far too low. On the commercial/industrial side of utility supplies, a common USA supply at 480 volts between phases has 277 volts to the neutral and here in Canada a 600 volt supply has 347 volts to the neutral. Both of these voltages to the neutral are far too high for the motor. I will try to get BestEquip to improve their Amazon listing and their product instructions. Hope this helps.

Great looking unit
Would have been 5 stars but it came in damaged and I fixed it myself. The box wasn’t big enough to pack it with protective foam, update: finally installed the pump and it is making a metal screaming noise and the motor got to hot to touch after one lift, hopefully someone from the company can contact me, thanks
