I bought these pinecones purely for decorating my Christmas tree (not for crafting or anything else). Pinecones bring a special memory of my childhood when my father and paternal family used to look for real pinecones in a forest in France during summer time (it was a French thing to do). My father is not alive anymore. I still remember the touch and the smell of natural pinecone. So I bought these to have a small piece of a pleasant past on my Christmas tree because otherwise my Christmas tree theme of this year didn't need pinecones.I received 20 pinecones all huddled up together in a nice, sturdy box. To my surprise, all the pinecones were much smaller than the size we used to pick up in France, about 4 times smaller so that was a tad bit disappointing. However they all came unscathed and best of all, they smelled natural. I was excited to decorate my trees with these and had a good time doing it. However another issue was the glue attaching the golden strings to the pinecones. The glue itself was dried up and making strings all over which was rather annoying. I had to remove strings of glue from every single pinecone, some had a few, others had many. It wasn't a pleasant sight either (see attached photo). However when everything was said and done, the pinecones looked dazzling on the tree and reminded me of my pleasant memory even more. Until then, I was thinking about returning these pinecones but the pretty sight of them on the tree changed my mind. I'm not sure if this is the standard size of a pinecone available in the U.S. as I have nothing else to compare to. However I can say that this size would be excellent if you were to create your own wreath or crafting. They're also fine for decorating a tree but I just was thinking I'd be getting bigger pinecones. However the reason I'm knocking down a star is because of all the ugly glue that came with it. This product gets 4/5 stars from me. I hope my review was helpful in your decision to purchase these.

I knew that there was a risk of them losing their hanging string, and it’s true. About 1 in 5 lost their string right away but it still left enough for my tree. And I used the others to decorate around the house. Like in a bowl or vase. Still worth it, in my opinion.

I received a set of 20 pine cones that all have nice and shiny gold hanging cords on them. These are great for winter decorating and even craft projects. Each pine cone is very realistic in size, shape and color and are ready to use straight out of the box. For me I am purchased these to decorate myself to use for my winter decorating. These are great quality and will hold up to being painted, glittered or whatever type of craft project you are doing. The hanging cords can easily be removed so that you can use them in table arrangements to compliment flower arrangements or other winter scenes you are creating. I am in the process of painting the ends of each of the pine cones then plan to use a bit of glue and glitter to give them a nice bit of sparkle. I have already tested one of them out to see if they would hold up to my hot glue gun and they did. I used just normal small bottles of acrylic paint that I picked up from the craft store to give them and extra bit of pizzazz. I am really happy with this set and they are the perfect size for what I needed and so much cheaper than what I have found in local craft stores. This would be great for teachers to buy because of the amount you get as it would be perfect to give to each child to decorate to give to their parents as gifts for the up coming holiday season. If crafting isn't your thing they can be used straight from the box to hang from your Christmas tree and would also look just as beautiful. I would without a doubt recommend these not only for price but the quality of product.

I know they’re just pinecones hot glued to strings but I wish they wouldn’t break as easily as they do.

With Christmas around the comer we want to decorate decorate decorate, want to make our house, and mostly our tree the most beautiful one in your family.They are great for decorations on the table, all you have to do is remove the gold string, they look so real, they are really good for any type of winter project, not heavy and they don't fall apart, they have no type of scent which is great, if you want scent to it you can always buy one of those sprays that come out during the holiday seasons and spray it on.I love the idea about how simple they look, and how much you can do with them, if you put your mind to it, there are so many types of projects you can come up with and you can make so many things with these pine cones for thanksgiving time and Christmas time.I also like that they don't all come in the same shape so it's easy to find just the exact one you may need, because sometimes you may need just a certain shape for a certain project and with these you have 20 to choose from.These are great and worthwhile buy for anyone who wants to get into the sprit of the seasons of fall.

I purchased these for part of our tree decorations this year. They blended well with the other natural materials we used. They are on the smaller side but perfect for what we needed. They were pretty consistent in size which was a plus. My only complaint is the strings are glued on all wonky and a few not even made into a loop. I will be removing them and regluing next season.

Every year I hold Christmas Mini sessions and I am always on the hunt for some fun different ornaments to add to my trees. These NICEXMAS Real Pinecone Ornaments for Christmas Decorations Set of 20 are so great. One thing I really love about them is I can use them for both Christmas sessions and Fall sessions. The pine cones are a good weight but not too heavy or light. They include a string for you to easily hang up and they are on securely. They also come in different shapes and colors which keeps things from being boring when you place them on your tree. One of the other things I checked was the smell. I didn't notice any smell at all which I didn't mind. I have had some items show up with chemical smells but these did not have that. Overall these are very high quality, well made ornaments and I know they will be adding a great pop to my tress this year!
