Very useful
This was easy to install. I appreciate the locking mechanism on there for when I hang heavy wet clothes on it. The cord retracts readily. So far I have hung waterproof bed liners on it and winter snow gear. It holds bigger drippy items better than a rack would. And this also gives me extra drying capacity when the clothes rack is full.

Not too bad!!! Still doing great.I hang about 5 of my t shirts on it.I had no room in my laundry room,needed something easy!! It does retractable!Pretty new or i would have given a 5 star

Incomplete Product Description. Wire cable line!
I am installing this today. The construction seems robust. I have concerns as the clothes line itself is a small wire cable. I am concerned about rust and corrosion over time. I also found that the extension of the cable was difficult. If I had to do over, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this particular model.

Had one at our last house. Loved it so much we got one for our next house too!! VERY HANDY!! Appreciate being able to lock the string length. New feature.

Does not last
I’ve had this for a couple years now. It started sagging about 3 months in (not long past the return window closed). I kept using it because it’s what I had. Recently, the line itself started unraveling and now it does not retract. It retracted just enough the last time I tried to stop it from going up again. We pulled it off the wall and found the mess in the second picture. Needless to say, we’re looking for other options to dry our hang dry clothes.

One of the easiest devices to make a happy wife!
Adding this retractable line to our laundry “closet” made a huge difference for my wife. A place to hang delicates to dry! Easy to install ( but it does not come with any instructions!)! Very unobtrusive looking! Very pleased with the product.
