Great training collar!
This collar really did help my lab mix who pulled HARD from the first time using it. I have started training her with it and I’m very happy with this collar thus far.The collar feels tough and durable. It’s fairly easy to add or remove prongs as needed and it even comes with extra if you need them. I really like this collar and it was worth every penny being able to walk my dog and not my dog walk me, lol! :)

Really works!
I’m a 118lb woman who adopted a 140lb male intact, untrained Newfoundland with a bad habit of pulling and jumping. This collar has been essential for quickly training him proper behavior when on leash. I have confidence I can effectively control him when out socializing in new places around strangers and other dogs. Much more effective than gentle lead that he pulled off faster than I could put on. Rubber tipped prongs protected his skin very effectively through early training process when he tried to lunge.

First time dog owner, it works!!!
The media could not be loaded. I am a first time dog owner (puppy owner) and I was a bit skeptical on buying the collar but I decided to give it a try. I have a 6 month old puppy who, even though he’s a puppy, is a big boy who pulls and darts everywhere. I bought the collar and tried it on him, it was easy to put on, a bit challenging at first to be able to remove or add links in the chain, but after I figured it out it was easy. You just have to pinch the loops of the prongs and it should pop out on its own or with a gentle push. It was easier to remove the links without the rubber piece attached for me. I will say that my dog still pulled a bit and even tried running off, HOWEVER, the force was greatly decreased and I didn’t even budge. My puppy wasn’t taking me with him when he pulled. After he realized what was going on, he stayed to my side, came back to me when I gave a small tug all when I needed him to stay close to me and he did it all on his own and he even sat and waited when he couldn’t move or pull the leash any further and chose to remain still or come back to me and walked at my pace. It was amazing, it really changed the whole experience. The collar DID NOT seem to bother him or choke him, he was happy and comfortable wagging his tail throughout the whole walk and there is extra links and rubber caps incase you break or lose one. This was just day one of trying the collar and I know I’ll be using it for training more often for future walks and events.

Solid and Works As Intended
Hard to get an image of this in action but this along with the gentle leader head collar are the only ways i can control my 2yo in tact 70 guy when he sees a stranger dog on leash. I had to remove 3 from size large and could probably remove even one more. BUT, when activated, he feels it and does stop the nonsense. I was just tugging up on it with a separate handle but that was not effective (see image for black handle - sorry the collar is not visible here but he is wearing it). Now that it's attached to the Ruffwear Roamer leash, when he pulls, he feels it. I usually move in close to him and grab the handles close to the connections to both this collar and his gentle leader to maintain control. It's an awful lot to do to control him, along with walking at 6am, but rather keep him and others safe.

Perfect for my dog!
Prong collars cam get a bad rap because they look as if they are pain-giving medieval contraptions. They truly are not. I think they are much more humane than the constant pulling of the choke-chain on dogs not well-trained. All my dogs have responded well to them, immediately calmed down and show respect. I started using prong collars in the past because it was the only way I could take my three giant breed Leonbergers on a walk together. I especially like the adjustable ones that snap on. All three are quality German made products that have lasted well over 20 years. I still use one on my large Husky mix.I was looking for one for my smaller Husky mix, who is still considered a large dog, but not giant. In this day and age of products that are not as well made, and many knockoffs, I hesitated to pay the price for one made in Germany. So, after reading numerous reviews on various brands I chose this one. My only hesitation were the reviews that said the plastic buckle broke rather quickly.Upon arrival and trying the buckle I noticed the plastic was extremely dry and difficult to undo. No wonder it broke! I sprayed it with a dry lube and what a difference! No problem with the buckle! However, for reasons unknown to me the plastic continues to dry out rather quickly so I reapply the lube at least once a month. This dog is not one who constantly pulls on the leash anyway, so for her I chose to keep the plastic on the the tips. And that works well for her. prong collars are needed though when walking my two together and they see something they want to chase! So these collars keep them in check and under my control. And if that plastic buckle does eventually break I can be assured she won’t be able to run off and get hit by a car because of the two rings the leash clips on to. All around a good buy at a reasonable price for the materials it’s made with

Buckle design is easier to put on, but makes it less effective
I ordered this collar to fine tune some training with my 20 mo old dog who is mostly leash trained. I used to train dogs professionally and the prong collars were always difficult to put on so I was drawn to this design because of the buckle martingale design. But unfortunately, the way the fabric on the buckle is sewn, it doesn't tighten when tugged so it slips down the neck more easily which is not ideal. I'm keeping it because I plan on using it minimally to work on a few things with my pup, but I would recommend the traditional design instead of this one, despite the ease of use with the buckle.

Great collar, very secure
I have been extremely happy with this collar. My lab weighs 78 lbs and I got the size large. This has definitely helped with her pulling . I love the rubber tips. My last pinch collar spontaneously came unclipped while I was walking her. This one has 2 great features that prevent that. It has a lock that slides( which I honestly don’t need to use) because even better, it has a double ring that you clip with the leash, so if the clip ever came unclipped, the collar will never come off the dog’s neck.

Very cute
Works perfectly for my border collie. Prongs are easy to remove to size. Caps on the prongs for protection. Love how it unclips and doesn’t have to slide over the head. And there’s even a lock on it so it can’t pop off. My dog supports LGBTQ
