These shelves are really solid. They seem to be hard steel and pretty thick and heavy. They seem to be powder coated in black for longevity, and I've seen no chips, scratches, stains, or discoloration of any kind. They install easy since they are individual, so you can align them perfectly with studs in the wall.I use them in my garage to hold up pretty heavy storage bins full of items and they have done perfectly.I like these because they can appear hidden if you put the tab up to be hidden by the wood itself. This makes them appear to be floating shelves.You do need to supply your own wood shelf. These are just the supports.When needed, id definitely buy another pack of these. What a great value.

I’ve ordered these 12” inch brackets twice in the past year. All arrived in great condition. These are robust and come with quality screws and wallboard anchors. Simple, I know, but so often hardware can be disappointing. To allow for the 20-30 lbs Intended for shelves, i found a stud for at least one bracket per shelf. Shelves were 1, 2 and 3 feet in length, 1 foot wide. I finished Sapele wood with minwax tung oil to ‘baby butt’ smooth.

The media could not be loaded. Very sturdy. Sleek look. Finally a metalBracket that doesn’t take away from the shelf it is holding up. Only negative is that the angle of the bracket wasn’t a true 90 degrees. My husband put them in the vice and bent it a little to correct them. Otherwise the angle caused the shelf to slant downward.

Excellent quality, very well packaged, and simple to install. Highly recommend. We bought the natural 24" and 36".

Love these. It is a nice alternative to an L bracket and the focus is more on the shelf than the hardware. We attached these under some pretty heavy solid wood shelves and they didn't disappoint. I will gladly buy again.

These are nice! Exactly what I needed. I anchored half of the screws into studs (I used longer wood screws then colored them black with sharpee) and anchored the other half with the drywall anchors it came with.
