Hung this on front porch just before winter. Have 2 heated feral cat houses on porch and wanted to ensure snow didn't accumulate on porch. It's working beautifully as today we are in midst of a snowstorm and my porch is dry. Hung from eaves to floor of porch and not a speck of snow on porch. It also works great keeping wind from hitting my front window. We're expecting 60MPH winds and frigid cold so I definitely won't have that wind hitting my front window. Used strong hooks to hold the grommets and it's holding up beautifully.

When it’s windy and raining it blows the rain under my 24 feet wide backyard awning and wets all my summer furniture and cushions so I needed to put a stop to that. I searched on Amazon until I found these heavy duty clear tarp. We installed both 12 foot tarps by putting zip ties through the holes of the tarp and hang it on the top and side bar and use chord through the bottom holes and tie to the middle bar and since it’s pretty heavy duty the wind hardly moves it. Now I’m waiting for the big snow and see how it handles the snow from getting under the awning because it has been doing well with the rain and wind so far. So glad I found these clear tarps because it solved my problems. Note: Because it’s heavy we first zip tie the top of the tarp to the top bar then gently roll it out to the bottom then zip tie the sides to the side bar which keeps it steady then insert cord through the holes in the bottom. In the summer I can push it back if I don’t need it but I think I might just leave it in place because I can see everything through it. Very happy with it.

The viewing part is not the total size. Take into account the seam area as well. We needed 6’ viewing area and were a few inches short.

Definitely not cheap but I had a specific need for a clear tarp exactly this size, so I went for it. The tarp is quite thick (seems at least 2x the thickness of an off the shelf plastic tarp at one of the big box stores). The edging is a broad heavy fabric strip of white material, and the grommets are large and seem very secure. Again, not cheap but seems very well made. I expect it to last for years.

Pleased with the durability and craftsmanship of the edges and grommets. Hopefully wrinkles will reduce in warmer weather overtime. However the dimensions were shy by at least an inch on length and width.

The product is nice and clear where it hasn’t been wrinkled from folding it multiple times and getting creased and wrinkled. This pic is after using a heat gun to relax the bulk of the wrinkles then hanging up for three days. If only it was shipped on a hard cardboard roll it would be so much better and worth paying more for the packaging. As it is now, it’s mediocre. …. Followup: they did offer a full refund, which I didn’t take since it’s in use. Seems like a good company that won’t have this problem again.

The quality of the plastic is very thick. And yes there’s a lot of wrinkles, but that doesn’t matter to me. We put them up last night around my gazebo. It was 35° and the wind was blowing. We barely felt it. (I left some space for ventilation and the wind was blowing pretty strong). The heat was held in quite nicely as well.

Grommets through reinforced nylon webbing make for a strong fastener. Heavy vinyl but very transparent.
