If you're into any type of fitness program, I highly recommend you buy this scale.It's not your simple scale that you step on and it does your BMI. It breaks down your body mass, your percentage of muscle mass. Skeletal muscle mass, free muscle mass, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, percentage of body water, bone mass, and your metabolic age. I know it's not per absolutely precise but directionally if you use it day by day and let's just say you're weight training, it gives you a marker to shoot by so you don't get obsessed with your weight. Let's say your goal is to put on muscle and your weight is going up. This gives you a great indicator of whether or not you're putting on some muscle and not just gaining fat.I cannot recommend this scale highly enough for the price point. It's amazing and it comes with an app so you can track the history from your phone.

I like it. Build quality is strong, sturdy. The size itself is compact, smaller than my older scale. The dark color also makes it look good. I also like the app that gives you much more data than a regular scale (although, I don't know how accurate it is, especially for things like body fat and bone density but I assume it's within a few percentage points of the real number). The package came with a set of batteries, but they only lasted me 3 months (I check my weight once a day, not always connected to my phone via Bluetooth). Not sure if the scale really is that power hungry (3 batteries) or if I got a bad batch of batteries, but I'll keep an eye on the use till the next time I have to replace them.
