I like that this has a menthol cool feeling on the skin. The consistency helps the skin not get too dry. It is very soothing and feels great. I like that it can be applied multiple times. Makes my cold sore blister go away sooner than before. I put it on the top tip of my ear where I had cluster blisters. It surprised me how soon the blisters went away. It smells like beeswax mixed with a slight hint of menthol. The color is like beeswax yellow and has consistency slightly more dense than petroleum jelly. It is easy to apply. I use a new cotton swab every time so I can keep the tube clean.

I had been using Orajel by the two bowls trying to keep the canker sores in my mouth from hurting so I was able to eat. The Orajel just wasn’t cutting it so I ordered this. It was the BEST THING EVER! Orajel just numbs your spots for a very short period of time. This product, not only does it numb it, but it actually HEALS it up! I would highly recommend it.

I bought this product and needed it quick. I used it as soon as it was delivered. I noticed immediate relief and the second day what an improvement. This product as not at all expensive as with others and works great.

Cold sore are a bear! Lysine helps to sooth it. I don't know that it helps heal it any faster. Taking oral lysine is probably going to help more in the long run. I have also found that putting oil of oregano directly on the cold sore helps immensely, as the oregano can kill viruses....but beware...it burns for a few minutes. I had a foot ball sized cold sore on my lip and the oregano helped get rid of it within a week. Usually it would take 2.5 weeks for it to clear up. That being said, I'm still in favor of the Lysine lip treatment as it does sooth the pain. I'm only giving 4 stars because I think it's pretty pricey.

Works very well. Used it on my cold sore and within 2 days it was pretty much gone. Love it uses natural products too. Highly recommend!

I had to wait a few days after onset before this arrived, so I can’t speak to its effects if I’d caught it at the tingle. I did take oral lysine supplements alongside it, which may have attributed to the lessening of severity.I have been getting cold sores once annually and each year they’ve gotten progressively worse. This time, though it’s still gone through the typical stages (6 days in, currently), it never fully “bloomed” outside the border of my lips or became super noticeable. Further, I am pregnant and have suffered with cracked, miserably dry lips for months and this is the first thing that actually alleviated those symptoms and has been pleasant to wear. I personally like the light menthol scent and cooling sensation. I will definitely repurchase to continue to wear as needed!

This works great! I use it when I think I feel a tingle that might be a cold sore and when my lips are really dry. I have only had one cold sore in the last couple years since I started using it.
