Songs of the 1980s - The New Decade Series: E-Z Play Today Volume 368 (E-z Play Today: The New Decade, 368)

Got this for my 80s living 7 year old as she learns to play. I am enjoying learning with this too. Great for beginner player and fantastic songs.

Really easy to read the notes. Lots of great songs to chose from.

A fairly comprehensive collection of songs from the 1980s. As with other EZ-Play Today titles, these are essentially "lead sheets" with simplified arrangements. Perfect for the beginning to mid-level musician who simply wants to enjoy playing songs for self-entertainment or with small groups of friends. More advanced musicians might use these arrangements as a starting point to create a more complex arrangements. The only negative (the reason for only 4 stars) is that there is a moderate amount of crossover with other Hal Leonard titles. I would prefer than the music book listings included either a list of the included song titles... or a "view inside" that includes the table of contents. (This criticism may or may not apply specifically to this title, but it does apply to many Hal Leonard (and some other song book) listings on Amazon.)

This book is great for my keyboard. Makes it easy to set up and play the songs.

Easy to follow along but the songs are broken up or missing so doesn’t right.

100% not what I expected. No where on this book does it say “beginner.” When I purchased this book I expected it to be like many other Hal Leonard books I own, but it was only treble clef and had the note names written on the notes.

This book is amazing, hours of great music to play. The ez play books are amazing and easy to learn
