The media could not be loaded. Lamp arrived safely packed and even better than described. Lamp shade has a 160 degree range and can be adjusted like a spotlight. Easy assembly. Took longer to unpack than to assemble. Sections are all linked together; you only need to screw them together for the finished product. Pretty. Tasteful. Classy. Sturdy. Has a wide light range for good coverage to light up a specific area. I love it!

Pros: This lamp is solid. It also looks expensive. I was impressed when I was assembling it. The base is heavy. It was a "wow" moment for me. Trust me when I say this lamp will not tumble. It's tall, unlike all those lamps with misguiding pictures of good looking lamps that are made for elves. It has a foot switch that makes it easy to turn on and off. No defects. Easy to assemble. Great price. Style and color was exactly what I was looking for.Cons: You will need scissors to get through all the tape in the packaging, but that's what protects the lamp on its way to you. Bulb not included (uses a standard size bulb, though)

The weight of the lamp is very light not stable. The color was dull and overall is not worth the amount paid for floor lamp. If I could return it without hassle I would but I needed the product for the bedroom for family coming in from out of town. Like I said 1st time in 4 years of purchasing from Amazon and this is my 1st negative review.MJ

I have tried several lamps from online sources. All were disappointing...until this one. Some were so poorly made the shade would fall and dangle by the wires holding the bulb. Others the shade was so small you seemed to be under a spotlight. Some, the assembled post was never straight. This lamp concentrates the light downward and I wanted that so it didn't reflect into the TV. So, don't expect it to light up a room. It is simple, sturdily built, straight and it comes with some spacers in case the lamp tilts slightly towards the shade. I can reach the on/off button while sitting in a chair or couch. (The horizontal rod is fixed so the only adjustment is in the shade pivot)

I like the looks of this lamp. It has a nice retro design and works fine. My only dislike is a step on on-off switch. I want to be able to reach the switch from my seat rather than having to get up and step on a floor wire switch. That's not only annoying it forces the cord to be out and visisble.

I searched multiple online sites & big box stores over the course of several weeks.This is a very heavy, substantial lamp which goes well with my farmhouse rustic decor. I think it will last a long time.. The clean simple lines would match many styles. The foot switch is a nice touch. I used a Phillips 40w soft white bulb, but it takes led bulbs also. Nice.

Very easy to assemble. The shade is metal so easy to dust and its adjustable, perfect for someone who knitts or reads in the evening without disturbing others watching tv.

Lamp looks expensive but is 1/3 of the price of similar lamps. Makes Modern Farmhouse or rustic decor really pop! Very happy with this purchase.
