Very handy and ever ready. Power went out just this week. Works wonderfully and super reliable.

Too bad it’s too dim

What a great compact flashlight. Too bad it isn’t very bright. For the size it should be much brighter that 200 Lumans. Put a better Cree bulb in it, get the Lumans to 500 and people will pay $60 all day long.

The M2 is bare bones beyond ridiculous

The media could not be loaded.  I've been carrying some sort of tactical light every day for at least twenty years. This is the first one that I am likely to just throw into the trash. The spec sheet for the M2 and M3 versions of the light can be quickly summarized as follows:M2 $27.95low, med, high, strobeAnodized Aluminum24hr batteryTwo cheap lanyards200 LumenM3 $79.95low, med, high, "turbo", strobeTitanium72hr batteryLanyard and spring clip700 LumenAs you can see, the M3 is much nicer, although not $80 nice. It has a spring clip, arguably longer battery life, and higher output than the M2. It also has an actual button.I opted for the M2 because, in my experience, none of my flashlights have ever outlived their case, whether it be aluminum, steel, or plastic. There is no reason to use expensive titanium for this. Also, 700 lumens from a tiny flashlight tends to serve only to blind the person using it. My other high lumen lights have a proper handle and a wide enough lens for search and rescue. The M2 is just a shell holding an LED onto a battery. It looks like an inner module that is meant to fit inside a flashlight shell that would properly interface with the tiny button that the M2 has. It does not come with a clip, and the body shape cannot accommodate one. This is useless.
