The one I purchased and received measured 12'x16'. Yes, I did measure it to make sure it fit.

Q: Can this be used to cover plastic greenhouse like the flowerhouse farmhouse to help hold the heat in?

Great question. This was the reason I bought this. I am not sure how well this will insulate. I should know more once I get through winter.

Q: Is there a loop at one end to insert steel rod for rolling up?

No, there is a rope around the perimeter of the tarp which can be used to roll it uo but you cannot remove the rope to make room for the rod.

Q: Does this allow for full sunlight. Some people were saying it's not really clear?

It is translucent. Sunlight gets through but it is not strong.
