Brilliant product
Exactly what it says in the description the quality is absolutely fantastic , absolutely amazing value for money easy to use just literally plug into your computer or laptop no need for installing software, very portable and easy to carry around

Easy to use, plug n play, pity the cables a bit short
My new pc doesnât have a disc drive for loading software or for cd/dvdâs. This works fine but could benefit from longer cables.

Stopped working
I used this to transfer CDs and DVDs to file so as to save them in a media server. It was used for a couple of months when I bought it and then put away. I wanted to do the same to some new media recently but found that after having been in storage, both my Mac and my PC say âUSB device not recognisedâ.Do not buy.

Brilliant!
I don't have a cd drive on my current laptop and none of the people I know seem to have it these days, but I needed to make back-up cds for my child's performance. This little item solved the problem after so much agony trying unsuccesfully to find a person with a cd drive on their laptop! Extremely easy to use. I plugged it i, and it worked straight away. I have Windows 11 and a previous external cd drive I bought elsewhere didn't work on my computer. This gadget worked with no problem.

Works first time
I have both a Windows PC and a Macbook Air and connecting to either (the Macbook via a port extender) worked first time without any fuss.The speed is OK - the only issue I have is that the attached cable is ridiculously short - OK if the drive is right next to the PC but I used a USB extension cable and that solved that problem.

It does what it is supposed to
This is a simple CD/DVD drive and works without any software installation on Windows 11. Does not feel very robust and is made from a basic plastic which could be a bit brittle. If you need to carry this with you, I would suggest keeping it in the box supplied.
