Good Quality
I had to return this rug as it was a bit deeper in areas of the rug than the stated measurements of .75 inches. It's very pretty and I really like the gray color which I thought was more of a taupe gray which is exactly what I was wanting. It was great quality and I hated having to return it and wish I could have used it elsewhere in my home. Arrived super fast and packaged very well in heavy duty plastic.

Color comparison…
Posting this to hopefully help others in their selection. From left to right… here is the natural, natural grey, grey, grey natural, and natural ivory. This was taken in natural light, the labels on the rugs will also show the product info/color if you’d like to zoom in on the photo. There is hardly any color difference between the natural and natural gray. If they weren't right next to each other I would probably think they were the same color. The Grey in person is a little bluish/silver looking in my opinion.

Beautiful-better than the pics online
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and thickness of this jute rug. First of all, it was packaged on a cardboard cylinder, which I VERY much appreciate (instead of folded-takes forever to smooth out the creases). It was super easy to unpackage and roll out onto my living room floor. It laid out nice and smooth and is a beautiful color. Safavieh brand rugs have never dissapointed. It isn't the softest, but it's definitely well-made and a great value for the money. It wasn't full of dirt/sand like other jute rugs I have bought, and no odor other than the initial grassy smell of jute fiber.I need to mention that the rug dimensions weren't exactly 8x10 though. It was actually about 7'6 x10'4, which fortunately still worked for my application.

Mostly Pleased
Like it a lot. Just a little too orange in color. But it works.

Pleased with my purchase!
This runner is perfect in our home. The length and width fit perfectly, the color is great, and the look of it is great. While not hard and jagged, I would classify it as ‘soft.’ I can stand on it barefoot comfortably. No stray or jagged jute pieces sticking out, as some others have stated. I originally purchased this rug for in front of my kitchen sink, as a layering rug (I have a thin ‘heirloom’ type rug (Ruggable) and I wanted to put this under it…but it was too thick for that purpose. So, while it was not good for that purpose (I almost had to “step” up on it from the floor - it’s not thin at all!), it is perfect in from of our patio sliders. I know that some reviewers said that it makes a lot of mess, due to shedding, but we don’t find that at all. It is not in a high traffic area, but it’s stepped on every day. We vacuum it a couple times a week, but that’s it. When I lift it, there’s no dust or jute pieces left behind under the carpet either… There’s literally no mess. As for the smell - it did have a smell of fresh hay for a few days to a week. It was noticeable, but tolerable. But at this point we don’t notice it at all - the smell is gone. It states this on the label - that you will need to give it time to air out, and they suggest that you vacuum it to get ahead of any possible dust or anything that may come from it. We have now had this runner for two weeks. I would highly recommend it…but speaking strictly from a standpoint of it not being in a high traffic area.

Perfect Match!
Perfect match to my patterned rug in the diningroom. I couldn’t be more happier.I will say though, this rug is TOUGH on the feet. I use it at the entry so it’s great but if you have little ones and your using this for the livingroom I’d maybe put down a blanket.I did not a smell as other reviews mentioned. I did have to shake it out a bit but nothing crazy. No sand or extra dirt. I checked under neath and nothing. It is a bit thick and you have to let it flatten out a bit. At first my front door wouldn’t open but it’s gotten better.Overall I love the rug!!!

Absolutely love this rug
I bought it to have a place to put my plants near the window. This rug is thick and very beautiful. I absolutely love the way it looks with my plants on them.

Imperfect awesomeness
Definitely a natural fiber rug - and small imperfections due to this. Adds to the charm. Thick and nobby, heavy and doesn’t slide around on my wood floor. Massages my bare feet. Stuff can catch in it and definitely takes a bit to clean…but I love it!

Things you should know if your going to buy this carpet.
1. Nubby texture underfoot.2. Not good for child's play area as its too textural3. Colours are fantastic, for a beach or rustic decor. The look is what I love the best about this rug.4 No issues with dampness5 Was not a perfect 8x10, as it was short in one corner by 1 inch. I just cut my underlayment shorter. The imperfection was livable.6. Needs Underlayment7. Not as soft as wool. Softness is just Ok. Livable. Just be aware that it has a textured knot your walking on.

Buyer beware!!
Does not look like the picture. When I received the rug it is VERY rough and has hand tied knots all throughout making it look messy. It leaves a ton of dust on the floor is super thick and awful to walk on. I paid a ton of money to get these shipped back and the manufacturer requires a bunch of proof to return. Highly do not recommend these. Buyer beware!!

Stop hesitating and buy it
I bought the natural 8x10 and it arrived on my doorstep in a few days. I had been hesitating over buying this rug for a few months because there were some bad reviews, but if you’re looking for a good quality, natural jute rug that is affordable and quickly delivered, this is it.There is fallout under the rug, so when I’m vacuuming I go under the rug as well and after vacuuming a few times, the dust/tiny grass particles/dirt I find seems to be reducing. I don’t mind this at all because it remains under the rug until I clean it.I also have two golden retrievers who adore playing and napping on this rug. I use a brushless vacuum and it scoops up the dog hair very nicely, so it’s pet friendly! Not necessarily puppy friendly, because my little one tried to bite the rug in a few places and it became damaged where he tried to chew. I don’t know if this means my puppy is a very talented chewer or if the rug came apart easily. I don’t care, I’ll be replacing this rug with the exact same one when the puppy phase is over 😂Décoration wise, I get a compliment from every single guest that comes through my door, and everyone is surprised to hear I ordered it off Amazon. It adds a lovely texture to my space and feels nice under the feet. It’s not soft, but not too rough. It’s been softening the more we step on it and the more the dogs play.Overall, 5/5 for quality:cost ratio, delivery speed, and product is pretty much exactly what you would expect from the pictures and descriptions from the seller (unless you’re me, who drastically under estimates how big 8x10 is and is very, very, surprised when it arrives)Happy shopping! Hope you buy it!

Love these rugs
Loved the look. Natural, rustic, bumpy and knotty (no pun intended). Lends a very organic feel to a room. The negative. I’ve found they shed fine straw fibres more than I like. I have other wovens w jute that seem to have a waxier finish on the fibres. More treated perhaps. The main issue being black clothing... stay clear of the floor... and don’t drop your blacks and Navies....hard when u have little’s.I recommend vacuuming without a rotary so as not to damage the fibres, and vacuum often. Shake every so often....But over all. I love my rugs 🥰

Gorgeous, neutral rug
This rug is substantial. The dimensions (2x10') are difficult to find - we have it front of our patio door, so we don't want anything wider than 2'. It really helped make the space feel complete. The weave is knobby and feels like a massage if you have tough feet (it's a bit hard on my bare feet. The "out of the package" new smell went away right away, and the price was very reasonable. I really like that we got a natural, unbleached, undyed product as well.
