First time I bought an Amazon item that was discounted by Amazon as "returned & like new"...but it was definitely like new & only had some minor dings on the exterior of the box, just as the listing described. The lamp was backed extraordinarily well and most, but not all, of the assembly directions were clear (is the paper surrounding the wire inside the lamp's 3 assembly rods to be left alone to protect the wiring or to be removed as a fire hazard? Time will tell!) Bottom line, nice item at a discounted price...unless it catches on fire!

This floor lamp was the Best anywhere on line. Easy for anyone to assemble. Love ❤️ the wood grain shade. Lights up the Den with a lovely glow!

This lamp fits into our aesthetic which is modern cabin -- but it's very versatile and there is nothing cheap about it. We love it so much -- we ordered TWO of them for different rooms.

There is no doubt that this lamp is absolutely beautiful especially if you are into ambient lightening (Phillips Hue).The reason why this floor lamp has lost a few stars is because the threads in the middle bar do not align with the corresponding threads in the base bar (as seen in photo #2). I tried for 30 mins to carefully align the threads then realized that it was so easy to align the threads in the other pieces that this one should have been no different.Due to this defect the lamp is slightly unstable but I am going to keep it because I do not have small children and this is actually the second time I tried ordering this exact lamp.

I haven't plugged this lamp in yet but I have to comment on its packaging. It was carefully, beautifully packed using cleverly cut and taped cardboard, not styrofoam. Assembling it was easy, too, and I have no mechanical ability. It's just a matter of screwing together the poles. I will update later after I've used the lamp for a while. I plan to buy more Adesso lamps.

Superb quality and design! Every once in a great while, I come across a product that impresses me for its simple yet elegant design. This is that product. It arrived today and the first thing I noticed in taking it out of the box was its hefty, sturdy, steel construction. I guess I expect most products at this price point to be made of cheap material, but this lamp makes use of good old steel, in a very elegant way. The base is solid and heavy - no wobbling like other floor lamps. The shade is white - perfect for modern decor - and has a slight horizontal pattern due to the fabric. Beautiful! I had it put together in 5 minutes and am enjoying the ambience this light gives my room. I'm already thinking about buying another for a guest room. Very highly recommended. And thank you, Adesso.

Love this lamp, it is very well made and very sturdy. Feels very high quality and like it will last a long time. The only surprise was the ribbed texture on the lampshade which is much more apparent in person. Not my favorite but easy to replace.
