I am not a reader but my counselor recommended this book and boy it really puts things in perspective and makes you realize why and how you became a codependent. Understanding what role we play and how we are harming ourselves and the ones we love is the first step to getting better I think. A must read!

This is a really great book that helps you see where you need to heal and also how to deal with abusive people in your life in any kind of relationship. It helps see how not only the people in your life are codependent but also how you are codependent on them and it helps you deal with it in a healthy way. I have bought many copies of this book for people in my life and it has helped them start their healing Journey and I recommend it any chance that I get as well.
